I never saw this at all until now and i am a die hard Packer fan from wisconsin. i'm pissed they didn't show this live. I'm a USMC veteran and it seems like football is more important then the U.S. troops fighting for our right to have football.
Another Wisconsin fan and USAF vet. I waited to see this only to see ESPN switch to a damn commercial. I knew the Packer organization was going to do this, but ESPN didn't care.
I'm a lifelong/diehard Packer fan and hadn't learned about this until today. Shame on you ESPN. The next time I have pics or broadcast quality video to share with a sports network.. it's going to Fox.
ESPN is continuing to disappoint me with other things, but the fact that this was not shown and the felt that TV commercials were more important and they failed to even show a playback (at least that is what I heard) after the commercials. That hurts. I am a USAF veteran and I find that sad. At least when Fox does sports, they do it much better.
Great show of thanks. Now if you REALLY want to show your appreciation, please tell our brave men and women that we will not be sending them to Iran, Syria or Uganda. Semper Fi Marine Corps, and Go Pack!
What in hell are you talking about? The ownership of the Packers put this tribute together, the players had nothing to do with it one way or another. You are saying that the ownership had control over the shots that ESPN displays on the air? ESPN has a contract with NFL not with the GB Packers. I AM one of the owners of the Packers, in case you don't realize that the Packers are owned by stockholders. Your post doesn't make sense!
As of now, I am no longer a Fan of the Packers, a team I have loved and supported since the days of Vince Lombardi and Bart Starr. No more. I am done with them, and if the team members allow the ownershp to do this, then I suppose they are in favor of the opinion. Oh, I forget the NFL players are part of a Marxist Union, and I guess, at least on this point the Unions and Their Owners Agree.
Amazing!!!! Thankyou Green Bay for your show of support and patriotisim.
Fabulous!!!

This is been passing around as if it just happened. I wish they'd do it today!

That's really cool ... too bad ESPN dropped the ball and failed to show it on their telecast.
