This collection is impressive considering that Miuccia has been doing this for four decades straight. She has nothing to prove and yet she still manages to be exacting in how modern she truly is. This collection was a reflection of that.
This was the most practical collection from Prada in a very long time. The House really got it right with the Accessories. I even liked the dresses and skirts that are deconstructed into "fringe". The Environment has been top of mind in most collections this season and Prada listened. Make no mistake this collection is Austere and I wonder how their core customer is going to like it. I felt the strong points of this collection are what Prada is known for and that is the accessories. Loved the handbags and totes and Miuccia's version of the "Mary Jane" is a fresh take on a classic. The misses for me was in the rain boots and the oversized puffer blazer coats. I have not really been a fan of the brand, so the fact I clicked on it to view it says allot. Currently, the House is going through some tough financial times, believe it or not, this collection may start that climb back. Let's hope.
Take away the sheer clothing, tassels, coloured stockings and shredded skirts and the collection would have been good. Who would wear sheer clothing in autumn and winter?

I actually think the rain boots and puff blazers are going to be really big sartorial pieces in terms of streetwear.
