The Pilgrim anorak along with the Bergen backpack are definitely on my wish list for this year! Can't believe how much attention you are paying to every small detail to make your products perfect! Also great to see Dave as part of the Team!
Another one to add to my wish list. Helikon are bringing out some super products this year!

One good looking product. So many features the ventilation is a huge plus for my climate.
Please make one in a slate grey / anthracite colour scheme would be really cool .

Odpowiedni Człowiek na odpowiednim miejscu. Czekałem na anoraka i się doczekałem Super Helikon a SurvivalTech się spisał.
I love mine. Didn't wax, but used Nikwax Cotton tech wash instead. Works like a charm. The Pilgrim trousers too. For me, they are on par with the Fjällraven G1000 but the price is unbeatable! Highly recommended!

I wish they made laminates with Gore Tex to be waterproof because they products are clearly only desert orientated where is a lot hot cold days but no water at all.

Helikon Tex made the best decision by hiring Dave, this guy have charisma, he is the God of Bushcraft, many people admire him as me, he looks good when he is presenting a product, he wouldn’t recommend a bad product, so when Dave is recommending Helikon Tex, Helikon Tex is a really good brand, and I can confirm it, because I have some products from Helikon Tex. If Dave should me present some product, I would only tell him: "Shut up, and take my money!"
This looks a good product, I have a few items in Duracanvas and really like it. However it's not a accurate comparison to compare to Fjallraven's G1000 fabric. G1000 is much more weather resistant, it has a much tighter weave to the fabric and is completely wind proof, Duracanvas is not. I have no tested Duracanvas long term as yet but I suspect G1000 is probably harder wearing.
Yes but Fjallraven's G1000 fabric how much cost? :) This jacket is really best for this price.

I started with the Pilgrim trousers and anorak this year and in my opinion the Duracanvas holds up great (treated with Nixkwax cotton)! In warmer temperatures the G1000 is much more sweaty. Down to 0°C they are pretty equal. The only thing G1000 will shine more, I guess, will be in subzero with a lot of wind. But I did an overnighter 2 weeks ago at -10°C with the Pilgrim trousers and thermo long johns and they were perfectly fine. I compare with my Fjällraven Vidda Pro trousers, which I really love for years now.

Shame it doesn’t have the zips ip both sides like the woodsman. I love my woodsman but I think the pockets on this would be more suited to Me. Ease of getting the woodman on and off was the main reason I bought it.
Is the woodsman anorak coming to the US anytime soon? Also are you guys gonna release any different colors for the woodsman? Like primary taiga with grey accents..?

These look like they wear large. Does anyone know? getting ready to order one but hate jackets there wear to big on me. Awesome jacket!
How does this fit work for someone 5'6"? I have a Direct Action Dust rucksack and a Small Messenger bag. Great products. Have worn very well in rough conditions.

I understand it's not waterproof. Can anybody please suggest me something like that (interms of size and construction) but waterproof? Here in the northern Italy woods rains a lot. I like this jacket but I need something exactly like that just waterproof. Thanks

Im sorry, but no. I shouldnt have to take an extra step to make a jacket water repellant. Make that a standard feature in the future and maybe ill buy it.
Full length zipper coat would be useful also
We have other jackets with a full zipper on offer.

durable, versatile, but not waterproof !! If you were to wax this jacket you would sweat 100%.
