Minor correction to a text box: At hypersonic speed you only want the nose to be blunt if your speed results in a mach cone which is unrealistically narrow. At mach 5 through potentially 8 or so, you want it "pointy" (actually VERY pointy, more pointy the faster you're intending to go). When you get to a speed where the angle of the mach cone cannot be kept off the skin of the fuselage without making the fuselage "unreasonably pointy", then you want to switch to a blunt nose with ablative or heat tiles (a la space shuttle). Note that missiles and proposed aircraft in the single-digit hypersonic mach range are all pointy. While hypersonic vehicles with more space-faring velocities are all blunt. It's more ideal to be pointy, but beyond a certain speed you run into the issue of designing a "needle" shaped aircraft with questionable structural rigidity and no useful internal volume, so you gotta switch to blunt and heat-shields then. I sometimes wonder how much can be learned by their listening to critiques like this? It would be a vague lead, perhaps, but is it an inadvertent information stream?
It would be good if someone took a photo of the info sign at the exhibit, spoke to the people manning the exhibit or a label in a map of the exhibits. Was there an official website with info?? I bet this was super easy to prove as a prop from a sci-fi there for fans of a popular fiction
That looks suspiciously like the ADF1 Falkon from the Ace Combat 2, way back from '97. Dunno about the book mentioned, but if it's more recent, the design as stolen. The Falkon had am enclosed cockpit because it was a UAV, and no way it could actually fly if built in real life.
It's like a Chinese designer saw a science fiction AI generated design (maybe in some movie or in deviant art or something), got an idea, COPIED and modified the design, presented it to some relevant authority, the authority is impressed, they then proceeded with a mock up to impress the world. But hey, it's a nice mock up.
Question about your book, if the final amount will not be raised will you still release the book? Even if it means it will be more or less in simplified form?
The Sci-Fi-ghter looks very much a mixture of Firefox, Sukhoi Su-33, Robotech's VF-1 Valkyrie, Monogram's F-19, & the Northrop YF-23, and some old IL2 1946 SAS Mod Super Space Fighter project aircrafts. Too small a craft. for any reality of the actual industrial capabilities PRC has the ability to make, with the many advanced technologies they are unable to master or produce.

Looks like they've got some Macross fans holding a convention at Zhuhai.
Is there any deisgn pros of not using modern looking or sci fi jet deisgns ?
i mean if the material which is coated to reflect or absorb the jet radar
I mean whats stopping jets to look cool while being stealthy
I sometimes wonder how much can be learned by their listening to critiques like this? It would be a vague lead, perhaps, but is it an inadvertent information stream?
Grandpa Buff didn't do his research 😂😂
It would be good if someone took a photo of the info sign at the exhibit, spoke to the people manning the exhibit or a label in a map of the exhibits. Was there an official website with info?? I bet this was super easy to prove as a prop from a sci-fi there for fans of a popular fiction
Love this channel

It seems to me that the hat works as a decoy for Otis? A bit like the 6th gen of China works for some eyes . . .
Apt video!
Thank you!
Thanks :)
Thanks!
Thank you!
Silly hat (cowboy hat) is backwards!🎉lol
It’s a mock up at an air show that is open to the public… it’s an conversation piece…why is it so complicated?
Somebody has been playing too much Ace Combat over there in China...
PS, the hat is neat...
Leave to the Chinese to troll western media. And they ate it up.
A good analysis, even if it's a waste of your time, as you note.
looks like something out of Wing Commander
*This looks more like a Chinese version* ----- of Hollywood's Hypersonic 'Dark-Star' ------ *that was rolled out in Top-Gun 'Maverick'*
Darkstar at least looked like it could fly. This thing's outer wings alone tell me it would snap its outer wings off.
F37 talon from the movie "stealth"
It's as real as Ace Combat.
Like others have said, this is a practical joke. Maybe it's a Midway/AF moment here.
Oh i see new ace combat marketing mockup xd
I'd love to see the White Emperor in the next Ace Combat game.
Question about your book, if the final amount will not be raised will you still release the book? Even if it means it will be more or less in simplified form?
Yes. It's still early days, I am collecting materials
@@Millennium7HistoryTech Thank you very much for your reply and information.
It looks beautiful, yes or no?
game developer made and used the show to advertise and chinese gov allowed it..
