    I love the way you get inside the sound of Kurt's Guitar , actually sometimes you get so closer to the original one that I can't choose what's the best version. That's amazing, an incredible job.

    That was pretty spot on. Butch also said that they had used a 'bassman' and a 'pedal into a bassman' referring to two different hi-gain tracks in Drain You. My guess is that the Mesa pre might actually have been used going into FX returns of other amps in order to capture different tones. Some tones referred to as 'Mesa' by Butch sound very different to a Mesa Boogie to me.

    Damn, that sounds really great!!! I think the only thing missing is the Small Clone chorus. The only reason I say that is, when I listen to the isolated track (found here on RUclips), the clean sound has that sort of warbly shimmer that the Small Clone infuses into the sound. Maybe it's one of those originals with the different circuit that you mentioned in a previous video...It's subtle, but it's there.

    Hey Aaron, I love your youtube channel and I find the content you bring very interesting, you did the "Recreate that tone" from Nirvana shows, I don't know if you have Boss Katana or not, but because it's "cost/ benefit" maybe most have or maybe it's more accessible to everyone, you could recreate these "tones" (only the "clean" part of the amp, because the rest is achieved with pedals like the ones kurt used) like Live At The Paramount and Live and Loud on Boss Katana and post to your channel? You would really help people A LOT to have this sound, I'm really interested in achieving these sounds, thanks for all the information passed so far.
    Greetings from Brasil! ❤

    My one request, which isn’t even a specific song or album, would just be to feature more/longer clips of you actually playing. It always feels like we just get a teaser in the beginning, but then that’s it. Regardless I always appreciate the videos 🍻

    • @AaronRash
      @AaronRash  Год назад

      Hey Guinness! Now I want a beer lol. So the reason I don't play longer is because I actually get copyright flags... RUclips thinks it's an actual nirvana song and if I play for more than 5 seconds, thats usually all it takes. I guess the tone is usually that close. I usually need to keep it under 5 seconds or I get flagged. Certain songs like HSB for example get immediately flagged. I guess that's just part of what I have to deal with when recreating tones. I think I'll actually make a video about this at some point!

    Random observation - why do all RUclipsrs feel the need to use jump cuts when talking to camera? It feels like a cliché.

    • @AaronRash
      @AaronRash  Год назад

      We do this to get straight to the point and waste no time. Why make a video 10 minute when you could trim it down to 4? Especially in this day in age where people want shorter videos like RUclips shorts and Instagram reels, tik Tok etc… people want shorter videos or they lose interest.
      RUclipsrs do this to trim out all the silence as well as words like “uh” and “um” “like” etc.. if I were watching a video and the person talking takes 10 seconds to pull out their phone to read quotes (which I do a lot) and paused to think in between sentences while talking it would be a rather boring video, and I would probably click off of it and watch something else.
      This isn’t just a RUclips thing by the way… watch any reality show and they do the same thing.
