The Xiaomi Digital Thermometer Hygrometer measures both the temperature and humidity of the room and the parameters are displayed on a screen. The device features an e-ink display which ensures it conserves battery power, it will last up to a year on a single charge.

Thanks for the review! Meters are as useful ad they are accurate. Most cheap hygrometers are not. If you have time, please compare temp/humidity readings if Mi against a calibrated reference meter.
can you have two, and set one to a different timezone? or does the APP force them all to be the same timezone?
Is there a way to use it with Mi Home App? Mine just come and can't find it in Mi Home...

I have inkbird, thermoPro and sensorpush, but often have problems. Among them, I like inkbird's IBS-TH5, which is cute, smart and accurate, with an ink screen and weather display. A little more expensive, but very reassuring!
Can you tell how accurate the temperature?
Looks like the time on your phone is 1 hour faster than the clock. Have you resolved this issue?

Came to this video because the official app could not detect and the time is not sync. Saw the app you used, downloaded it, detected and synced with no problem. Everything set up nicely. hahaha. Sometimes official doesn't mean best.

How to change time format 24H to 12 H?
Hi, before you pulled out the battery separator, I saw there's an AQI at the left bottom screen (that TDS% PM2,5). So my question is, can the device be used to measure the air quality? Bcs once you turned it on, the number's gone. Hope you wouldn't mind answering my question.
Yeah it would be very interesting to have also the air quality (also its a 'pro' device so it should have more functionality than the others?) But I will probably built my own monitor with a bosch sensor that measures air quality, pressure, temperature and humidity via an esp8266 and puts everything in a Database
As far as I know this clock can show the PM2.5 value measured with a separate Xiaomi Air filter.

At 1:46 you can see that the display has parts for displaying other stuff(whatever the 4 digit % TDS in the lower left corner is, and the small % right of the clock). What are the other functions? I can't seem to be able to find any info on it.
I'm guessing the other "parts" in the display are so you can change around the primary displayed info so for example show the humidity in large numbers and the clock as the smaller text as the "PM" seems to indicate, or billboard style cycle between time temp and humidity in large text.
Only guesses for the TDS part though, either they had another planned model with a water quality sensor or planned on adding a wireless one?
If you add this clock in Xiaomi app (only way is change region to mainland china), you can pair this clock with T500 toothbrush and it will be showing information about toothbrush (battery, etc.)

Ive struggled to integrate with Google. But connects to Mi Home without a problem

No. The display is easy to read in low light though.

Seems like a missed opportunity. Having Bluetooth would be nice to have options to change font, style, etc.
It could display so much more info too.
I believe it's a segmented display, rather than a pixel display.

Cannot see the time in the dark. Very good in low light however.

To install "right app" to control this device SCAN a QR code inside the included tiny Chinese "manual"
28 degrees and over 70% humidity? I think you need new aircon.
who can provide better QR code for that device to setup? the one in the tiny instruction manual does not want to be scanned.
solved the problem by changing the locale to China. The device was found and synced quickly.

I would buy one of these, if it had Mi home integration and was using AAA or AA batteries... coincell batteries are PITA, compared to the rechargeable I buy from Ikea...
Coin batteries make it THIN. As if having 2032's is a problem for normal humans, they last over a year and cost what... a dollar or less?

Interesting 🤔 by the way Xiaomi is not pronounced with the [z] sound. The letter X transliterating Chinese words is normally pronounced as an S sound (technically [ɕ]).
Actually, it is "sh". It should sound like shou(t) mee(t). I am native Chinese speaker btw.

Unfortunately no this does not have a glow light.
O can’t calibrate the clock with the device. Since started summertime, the clock is different from the phone. Terrible.

Speak for yourself. The clock worked out of the box... paired with Mijia Home app with no problems and time sync after few seconds. No problem... you need to straight thinks up before criticize
