@@phy_ no biggie i just finished hard mode and i beaten this guy with having only 6 mp on aerith, joke boss, it only has huge HP the attacks are pretty easy to dodge with all the obstacles lying around built up my mana with soul drain, i find jenova much harder than this!

Saved, restarted Ch. 17 maxed weapon and even used the Fury ring... Arsenal didnt stand a chance and Aeirith's MP was 140/180 ish both ended with full HP and about 20 MP left. All i can say is thank you
Just keep taking away from the barriers with soul drain , aerith will get 6 points at a time. It's not hard really, the robot will not attack since it has coverage. So take all mp you need and use it as needed , leaving enough to do a thundaga x 2 to obliterate the boss when it gets ready to use his main cannon.
I tried to follow your strategy and Arieth ran out of MP before the third phase where he fired the Pulse Cannon because I was too liberal with it through Chapter 17. I had to rely on Barrett to just chip away at the damn thing and after a long fight I got it!
@@MaliceNX I hit him with everything when he was staggered. He got his second shot off on me in the last phase after I hit Barrett's limit. Thank goodness for Reprieve keeping me alive for a few more seconds to end his last bit of HP.
It's hard to see cause he does it so fast but hes using souls drain to recover some mp. That was my mistake to I linked lightning with MP recover but i always run out halfway through
I believe it's an MP Materia that gives you MP back when linked with another Materia (Use Thunder and get a refund of MP) or he could be using another method
You should change your name to 1st class soldier, I have not seen anyone play this game the way you deliver the pain to the bosses like they are nothing.

He prob does multiple runs, and saves MP for whichever fight he’ll make a video for, which is impressive on its own to get through these fights no MP!
