I'll never forget that day- you called and you were telling me about the show, so happy, then you received a knock on your hotel room door, and said, "Hey Taj, I have to call you back. They can't find Bernard..." Hours later you called me back with the heartbreaking news. Bless you, Nile. Thank you for keeping Bernard's memory alive and his superb talent... I'll always remember his greatness, and that bass line he played on the song that you and I had just wrote, "US"... just before you all left for that tour. Bernard- rest in blessed peace.
We leave Bernard in Nile , every time we see Nile , every time we hear "that" songs....Bernard IS LIVE togheter ...for ever , we fill that! Nile you`r not alone.

Just bought c'est Chic LP 1978 a few days a go. Pure pleasure. Love how it sounds on my vintage Soviet hi-fi system. Love Bernard and he's legasy (Not to shade Nail!). Such sound and musicality - those basslines makes me happy! Love from Russia, Saint-Pitersburg
I discovered this concert 2 years ago and I'm facinated with this. I am a bass player, I admire Bernard Edwards and I'm surprised a lot to know that he passed away that night😢 Incredible.
I had to cry such heavy tears. Bernard died one day after my 28th birthday. I will never forget it. Never. He was my hero. Because of him I am addicted to funk bass. 😢 I hope that I will see Chic life one day. It would be a dream come true.
I was not aware until fairly recently when I started researching Nile Rodgers, and Bernard Edwards, and what a talented duo. Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, produced as individuals, and a team some of the most profound music ahead of its time. I say farewell to a legend, Bernard Edwards!!! GONE ALL TOO SOON

Even now after all this years, it’s hard to accept that Mr Edwards left us right after that triumphant comeback celebration evening in Japan
