Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I agree and think this applies to all kinds of supplies. We all paint and create in our own way. Some tools suit our methods, some don't. There are so many factors that can come into play. PS I love the painting.
Thank you! Exactly and as everyone has different preferences, I thought it would be nice to create neutral notes. So others can decide better. Just a "I like it" is great, but maybe you like something different. :D
Thank you for this in depht review. I love how you really have a checklist! I myself am not as 'picky', as long as my paint lifts and does well wet in wet, nice dry brush on cold pressed... and no ripping of masking tape. Well the usual stuff, not the deep stuff I guess. That said: I have too much paper because I try it all. Most of them suit me one way or another....
Hehe, I felt the same until writing down and talking to others. And you have your own little list too! Papers just need to work for us, right? :) I just hope to create helpful content.
@@LanaGoesArt I did not feel that you were overthinking the process. Maybe a beginner will find it overwhelming, perhaps? But people who have been painting for some time will find your explanation useful.
Yes, Hahnemuhle The Collection cold press has a less rough texture than many other brands. As you prefer a less rough texture I think you would like Canson Moulin du Roy cold press. This paper has an even less pronounced texture than the Hahnemuhle. It has a soft surface texture, is a very forgiving paper and is lovely to use.

You are a wonderful person too :-).
your explanation is easy to understand.
Aww thank you for both. :) Hope you have a great day!
I look forward for your reviews, since I haven't yet found my go to paper.
Thank you! It's a slow process, but I hope we all will find our perfect paper that way. :)

Thanks for this explanation.
I’m first 😂
You're welcome :) I felt like it was necessary, but I'm not sure if I'm overthinking things... anyway ... another painting! :D
lol did you forget this time? :D
@@LanaGoesArt Nope 😂. I just prioritised thanking you in this time 🙂.

Thanks for the suggestions! My favourites are Fabriano Artistico and Gerstaecker Centenaire, which both don't give me the odd sensation issues.
@@LanaGoesArt I like both of those as well!
