Four Rare Volvo 480s In Storage For 12 Years!

- Here you see myself and my dad discovering this genuine barn find of 4 Volvo 480s, all being rare specifications in there own right!
Having spotted these 4 cars being sold together on a Volvo 480 forum and being untouched for 12 years, it seemed to good to pass the opportunity.
Previously being owned by a fellow Volvo enthusiast, who cared and loved these cars for many years was great to hear.
Having currently got a 1990 ES and 1992 Turbo, we now own six Volvo 480s in total! And I'm sure these will keep us busy for a while!

I've always wanted one but these have alluded me.
I have a very rare car and I'm looking to swap or sell in a heart beat for one of these.
Apparently there is only 155 in the whole of UK left of my car!!!

I'm currently driving my second favourite!!!
I am now the proud owner of E550 EBW. Working great so far and my plans are to restore her as far as I can. She had developed an annoying battery drain somewhere and I blew the exhaust on my way driving back up to Scotland..oops.. but ill sort that out asap.
I owned a 1.7 2tone from 1995 to 2001...I used to log all the other 2 tones I saw...just dug out the old log and I saw K533TBJ (yours is 532) in Newcastle in May 1997...
So awesome to see these cars getting a new lease of life.

Volvo 480s are lovely cars, I've got one, a 1995 ES 2.0
engine bits aren't hard to come by, really
Anything else, however, is very difficult
My son has one in his garage. 480 turbo in white. They used to take the 1.7 turbo engine out of those and put them in the Renault 5's.

But yeah not a fan of people killing the 480s off for their engine

If you ever gonna or thinking about selling parts for them I'm looking for a speed sensor for the 1.7 ES manual

They are all manual
@@volvoguy Yeah, I guessed, seems they all are and the 440's. Cracking find tho', hopefully the storage will have kept them in pretty good shape. 👍

Saved them all from the scrap and they’re now all up and running. I’ve decided I won’t be able to fully restore them all to how I would like so I will be selling a couple of them.
