Transition from Summer to Autumn with a H&M Haul

- Hi everyone, Yvonne here from Share It Forward. It's early August and that's the time for me to start thinking ahead and the transition from summer through to autumn, looking for those transition pieces. I started to look around and for me, there are some lovely pieces beginning to come through. I want to start with H&M and provide you with an early look book. I have chosen 7 pieces to share with you. I found some really great versatile pieces at good prices, including trousers, jackets, knitwear and an amazing scarf. I loved this video Yvonne. I recently found you, so I have to catch up on all your videos. I'm 68 and love your style. I especially really appreciate you bringing the clothing up close to the camera so that we can see the details and the texture of the fabric. Ty for your exquisite style and attention to the details. Great choice of clothes, I still work in an office in central London and all of these items would look good for work. Havent worn wide leg trousers for years so interesting to see they are back, fed up wearing the same old thing they look great on you. Thanks again for helping with ideas :)

Though from Canada do appreciate you including the sizing as with the exception of you possibly being longer in the torso and I have longer legs, our proportions are otherwise very similar. (BTW I am 75 years old but sadly have lost a bit of height but have always been slender.) To conclude, so enjoy your vlog and looking forward to what Marks and Spencer may have for Fall wear.

I really liked all of the items especially when you see them on. The only one i probably wouldn't wear is the black double breasted jacket as i am only 5ft think it might overwhelm me. Also not sure about wide leg trousers, perhaps i should try some on. Noticed my local M&S are getting autumn pieces in. Need to save up. 😉
Hi Margot, totally understand about the jacket as it is longer, but don't discount the wider leg trouser. They sit high on the waist and very leg lengthening, worth a try on. M&S vid coming soon. Y xx
I think I’ll hold out for the Toteme scarf that H&M copied here, I don’t usually like H&M fabrics.
The H&M one is 100% polyester, which I can’t wear and isn’t warm, anyway.
Hi Kimberly, it's such a good 'homage' for summer to autumn, light weight but can be layered moving on. I think sometimes it is also a good way to buy into the style if you are not sure about the design and don't want to make that, quite considerable, expense. Loved the video - my favourites were the black jacket and trousers plus the scarf - perhaps because it reminds me of a jacket/skirt/trousers combo I had from Jaeger back in the early ‘90’s before I moved to Portugal? I’ll have to see whether H&M PT stock them - 🤞they at least have the scarf! Thank you (yes I’d love to see the M&S video when it’s ready as I shop a lot online - however we are currently in a heatwave!).

Really enjoyed that thank you Yvonne. I particularly like your H and M videos as I find the website can be a little overwhelming. I actually bought the black cardigan in store last week, it was the only one hanging on a rail, but was in my size. I intend to wear it just over my bra when you need something more than a t-shirt but not quite a jumper. Best wishes x

Hi Yvonne, nice clothes , but when I visit H & M can’t ever see anything that looks good . Maybe there vary at different locations. I’m not sure about the wider leg trousers again , all very 70’s again 😂. But thanks for the haul .
