Since there is no Eurovision Song Contest this year, I decided to make my own Eurovision Song Contest - MY EUROSONG!
Em 2008, Portugal e a Croácia estavam unidos numa canção. O amor e mistério que o mar encerram para os dois países fizeram nascer esta canção, composta pelo Andrej Babic e escrita pelo Carlos Coelho. A voz veio da Madeira: Vânia Fernandes e a "Senhora do Mar" haveria de conquistar Portugal e a Europa, ao carregar a esperança e o sonho portugueses na Eurovisão de Belgrado! Há 12 anos como agora, Portugal e a Croácia estão unidos de novo, pela força da música e da arte. A todos os amigos e fans de Portugal: muito obrigado!
In 2008, Portugal and Croatia were put together into a song. The love and mystery of the sea in both countries were the common ingredients that inspired Andrej Babic for the song and Carlos Coelho for the lyrics. The voice came from the middle of the ocean, Madeira: Vânia Fernandes and "Senhora do Mar" then swept Portugal and the whole Europe, carrying the Portuguese flag and dreams in Eurovision 2008 at Belgrade. Today, like in 2008, Portugal and Croatia are united once again by the strength of music and art. To all my friends and fans: muito obrigado!
