You wouldn't want a track to come off near that yellow jacket nest. They don't generally kill honeybees I used to carry a bag of Sevin dust to try and eliminate as many as I can. Being wasps they can sting repeatedly unlike bees that die when stinging. Get your welder and saws and rebuild the push bar to your liking. Some were made from heavy pipes.
This project I had to stop a couple times maybe 5 mins total just because of the dust and the grade. I stopped trying to mulch up hill and just turned the head off and tan back to the top and just mulched downhill. 99% of the time operating with cat machines does not require breaks to cool down without a cooler. I assume the cooler would help in productivity and keeping the pump stronger longer. But idk if that’s worth the $10k+ for a cooler
@@TheTreeShop Absolutely I bought my machine in the middle of the shortage so let’s just say I got hit over the head lol. Made some $ and recently sold it. Moving to SC. Might try to weasel my way back in the business down there. Moving from NY wasn’t much competition here.
This is a 3M cubitron or something like that. Expensive but worth it. The red diamond or whatever the brand is that Home Depot Carry’s with the flap wheel disc does a good job too just not as aggressive
@@TheTreeShop I was curious on the 3m cubitron discs. I am using the cheap amazon ones. They are ok when they are new but get dull fast. Depending on how the teeth look I go through 1-2 discs per sharpening. Do those 3m cubitron discs last longer as well?
Awesome video Jeremiah.
Love that outside cab-mounted perspective.
I know steep.... Looking good. Keep up the awesomeness. Aloha.

Yea I’m gonna rebuilt the push bar one of these days😂
That Blackhawk eats like nobody’s business don’t it?
Favorite mulcher by far
Nice video. You don't ever have any problems with the hydraulics overheating in that FL heat?

@@TheTreeShop Right. I ran an ASV when I was mulching. I seen a video where you Demo'd an ASV was surprised you didnt go with it.
Just a money thing. And the Cat is the known factor. I’d like to add the 135 at the end of this year after the 259 sells

what pad are you using for sharpening?

They get dull to me quicker than I would expect but they cut really fast so it’s not terrible. I can sharpen 3-4 times per disc easy.
@@TheTreeShop Thank you again bud. I'll give those a try.
