The Gulls night busking in Brighton! Busking no, it was actually an Epic Night Gig on Brighton Beach! People could donate money, love, beer whatever! They were raising money for a charity doing their Robin Hood tour. They are the people’s best friend and the councils worst enemy, The Gulls have taken an alternative, freewheeling approach to life. Living and travelling in their vans, they’ve built a loyal following across the UK and Europe through the impromptu, outdoor performances and crazy publicity stunts they set up . A real life rock & roll band living out on the road. Formed in Camden in 2020, at a time when music venues were closed, The Gulls moved into their vans and started out on an unplanned tour across the UK and Europe. Taking to the streets, beaches and rooftops, they busked to earn a living, and began to hone their rebellious, freewheeling sound as well as their playful on stage presence.

In 2021, they released their debut album “Don’t Feed The Gulls”, and began performing sold-out shows at newly reopened venues across the UK. To this day they hold true to their unique way of doing things, combining venue concerts and DIY outdoor gigs to make that Gulls experience. Their reputation as one of the UK's hottest underground bands continues to grow. In April 2022, they formed a convoy and raised money for charity by performing free concerts around the UK. They called it The Robin Hood Tour.
Hailing from England, France and Holland, The Gulls have pushed the limits in their 2 years together as a band, finding success in the most unlikely scenarios. When music venues closed, the band decided to live and travel in a van together full-time, and began building a loyal underground following through the impromptu, outdoor performances they set up across the UK and Europe. Their debut album carries strong themes of struggle, change and determination, and the band seeks to inspire others to follow their dreams no matter the sacrifice. They are set to tour the UK, and Europe this year, mixing their DIY impromptu style with concert hall and festival appearances.
THE DEBUT ALBUM: Late October 2020, The Gulls arrived at Le Maison Des Fleurs in Cambrai, France. The 19th-Century French Chateau had not been lived in for almost 30 years, but was now under restoration by its new owner, Tony Geering and his family. To restore such a place seemed an almost impossible task. France was about to go into lockdown, and after 6 weeks on the road in Europe the band was itching to record. So a solution emerged. The band and crew would help Tony restore his chateau, and in return they could stay and use the place to record their debut album. Working with local sound engineer, Bertrand Chalet (Skip The Use), for the next 6 weeks, The Gulls did just that.
