4:05 CORRECTION: Filipinos as a general rule, CAN'T sing and to prove that, spend a few minutes in any karaoke bar. However, there are notable Filipino singers who are world class, and they 'carry the country'. Filling Station food is good, but over priced. While you make references to 'Poblacion' in reality you are not in Poblacion, which is to the north and across the bridge. Walking distance. Oxford Suites is a great location, + - $31 a night + 24% tax (all hotels) The restaurant is not worth visiting. They may or may not offer breakfast. Pinoy foods mostly. If you want a quieter room, ask for the hotel back side. There are also smaller rooms not advertised at a lower price. This video did mention the 'red Light District, which was a reality years ago.... but today the government is pushing 'family' type of atmosphere... however there are still bikini bars and street walkers. Without getting political.... the forced demise of the Red Light atmosphere was a very hard hit to local business and the women working in the area who for generations, supported their families. The average wage DAILY in Manila is + - $10! try to support a family on that......
I beg to disagree. In my opinion, most Filipinos can sing. I lived in the Philippines for so long😊 I said it was formerly known as the red lights district. Also all the establishments seem to believe they're in Poblacion. Thanks for sharing your opinions and for watching.
@@InandOutofVegas Well, speaking as an autistic senior citizen, missing or botched notes and off-timing does get my attention. I will be in Makati in October.... I really miss the old Bally's buffet in Vegas.... Vegas (Horseshoe) in Feb. 26. United has started a new direct flight from San Fran to Manila, 7 flights a week.... About 1500 RT. But I will stick with PAL (maybe).
So many changes in Vegas. I miss the PAL flights that flew directly out of Vegas. Right now, have to take a domestic flight to CA to fly to the Philippines. Have the best time!
