Usually when I hear a song I absolutely love I can't help to listen on repeat for a few days a week at most. This song has been like that for me, first song with Ai non the less, the mashing nostalgia of burt Bacharach and beach boys do it for me😊

I might be wrong about this but it sound to me like Carl might be handling the high end vocals. He was reputed to be the most technical musician of the group with perfect pitch vocals which seem to be amply demonstrated here.
You're right that Carl is very technical (iirc he sings the lead for the first part of Surf's Up, almost operatic line in there). It's hard to distinguish between them sometimes but I'm pretty sure that high Bb is Brian

There's a slight pitch change between the original take and the AI at the 1:20ish marker. It could easily be corrected if anyone cares to edit it a bit :)
Maybe not everyone thinks it's crap. I happen to think it's well done, pretty authentic sounding, and I like it. Maybe you just don't like Burt Bacharach songs or something. I think it's really cool to hear songs the Beach Boys never performed, but we get to experience the aural illusion of them performing those songs thanks to AI. A lot of work went into creating this. And why should the band get paid? If anyone should get paid, it should be the songwriters.
It's kinda funny how, even as an AI (etc), a version of this song by Brian has so much more sadness to it than other versions.
