Kind of disappointing, in that, for a ROBOT, you would expect to AVOID seeing massive amounts of WELD *spatter.* Also, the individual sections of Stock Steel had a LOT of RUST on them. Such rust will be very hard to decently paint "over". Any chance that Yaskawa will develop, or license access to, the NO SPATTER welding method known as SynchroFeed?
Production shops don’t care about rust they want numbers. Most robotic welders are are programmed to go into the rip cleaner which cuts back on spatter. You will never have 100% spatter free welds. I guess this one isn’t programmed for tip cleaner
