useful to know but I feel the strategy you propose is only valid if you haven't prepared for aging up. I already have a bunch of AF goods stocked up and will collect more contemporary before I make the move. I wonder what strategy you would suggest in my case? thanks as always for your advice, I really value and appreciate it.
Thanks for the total promethium count for OFE. Now I see I only have third of that amount in AFE :( And there is only one strategy - maximize promethium gain as later research gives reduced time and its not worth going for the repair boost as it only save little amount of goods (you can't save 50 goods every day, only every other day, so its 25 per day by losing up to 30% of promethium gain). Believe me, time is the least of your concern here as I doubt many players make more than 150 goods per day. Pay medals only when you have all medal expansions unlocked, which I doubt an average AFE player has.
Promethium is necessary. Even in Mars Age research still requires it. You have to produce it on your own as it cannot be traded. After a while you get used to it and it is not that bad. It only consumes many goods.
I was curious as to why there are so, so many players who won't pass FE! I am in the #1 guild on my server, and I was just curious as to why so many players(in this guild some of mid to higher ranked players are all in FE! It's not as if they can't get what they need as the top players are all Space Age Mars or Asteroid Belt! But i was so surprised to see how many are only Future! Is it really that much of big obstacle to get the promethium?) I have one friend who got through AF in one month, and then 3.5 months for OF! I plan on continuing into Arctic Future, but I have been told by other players that's a bad idea as I'd never make it in AF! But I do have the SC, and atm I'm trying to catch up to Era of quests as I did All of INA in CA all of CA in LMA! But the PE battles are very difficult with INA units against PE! But nothing is like how many players, ones who have been playing for 3 + years but won't go into AF! I can't thank you enough for your videos! This one question has been interesting me as I would think that everyone would want to get to SA:AB as SA:V looks to be a very fun age as from some things I've seen, this Age will introduce Aliens! I'm also interested in the second SA:AB GB! I have not even the slightest idea what it could be! But with most things exhausted, I'm assuming that more than likely it will be another Military Building! But any ideas? Again thank you so much and I hope everything is great!
Hello Raziel. The reason you see lots of players in FE (Feature Era) is because of many reasons. First. FE consider being the best era that Inno offer (of course after the Contemporary Era). Second. FE got HT (Hover Tanks), and those are considered the best of the best troops ever. Also, you can advance so wide on a Continental map using just 1 Hover Tank and 7 rouges as your troops. I own 3 cities and in my main city, I fought all the way to the VF map with just Hover tank and rouges. Third. It offers the best GBs for its age Arc and Rain Forest Project. Finally. FE does not require you special goods like Promethium or Orichalcum. Hope my reply gives you an idea why you see lots of players in FE and stay there forever. If you are moving to AF. you need to have Space Carrier in your city and leveled high.
A good strategy for AF is:- In FE. Do not build Space Carrier but save up your Forge Point stash. You need ~30K but more is better. Maximise your Chateau Front. At least 60. This dramatically increases the number of diamonds you collect as you age up & do all the recurring quests. In AF. Build Space Carrier. Have a GB levelling party & lift it to 61. This gives you sufficient Promethium to Fly thru the Tech Tree to almost complete it. Do NOT complete the Frost Immunity tech. This ensures your Arctic Harbour is at the 2nd level (68/trip & 18hrs per trip) but reduces the number of crew you can choose from. While Scientist Kita is good, the triplets are rubbish So if you reduce your possible crew from 19 to 15, You increase the chance that you get the same people. The more trips they do, the faster they level up. The more they benefit you. Stay in AF till you have at least 10K promethium. (you only need ~30K for the whole game) This means you get ~70 + 80 promethium each day. Focus on the crew that produces the most promethium. In AF your space carrier only gives Promethium. When you move to OF it produces Octium as well. In OF, focus on the crew that reduces the trip time. You can do 2 & later 4 trips a day, which costs goods but accelerates their experience.

Im just about to go arctic. thanks!
I think the best strategy is a mix between 1 and 2, depending on the selection of crew members and the state of your boat.
I want nothing to do with this. Is it required to continue thru the eras?
