He died at 43, but he was diagnosed at 39. I'm 38, if I was diagnosed with stage three cancer, I hope to God that I would face it with the same type of grace and dignity of a Chadwick

His legacy, while brief, left us with a cultural experience that will outlive all of us and be a shinning light for the best of what humanity can accomplish when we work together for the betterment of future generations. Like what Wakanda was meant to symbolize for so many of us. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

He had that Cancer for four years and still he played the role of black panther and raised the stakes for other characters on-set I don't think that was easy to do but he did it anyway... I just mentioned Bruce Lee and his untimely death in a conversation with my father this morning. Bruce Lee was iconic in the Asian community and the impact of his death was felt around the world. Although I was too young to remember, my father said Bruce Lee brought martial arts mainstream and he transcended color lines. So similar to Chadwick Boseman. As an African American, Chadwick represented our people well. An Asian superhero is long over due. Maybe Marvel can take that project on. By the way, your tribute is beautiful and very heartfelt.
I believe that the actor playing Namor is Asian American. I am a DC person much more than Marvel but I have heard that know Namor is a mixed bag of both hero and anti-hero. Maybe Marvel will focus more on the Hero part to represent and give hope to people of color around the world.

What a guy Chadwick was right. I've been so incredibly disturbed this past weekend over his death, but I've also learnt so much about this man and about what it means to live life with purpose. Let's celebrate his life together. #jabykoay
The tribute video came out only yesterday. But either ways, indeed, we must celebrate his life. If he kept his illness hidden and powered through all of that, that's probably what he wanted too. To be remembered for everything he did.
He was a powerful force who used his platform to help cancer patients while dealing privately with it himself. He seemed like such a kind soul. His legacy will live on through his work and his activism and impact on culture. My heart goes out to everyone that knew him and of course his family.
He's wasn't a character he was a true king. He keptt his problems to himself and tried to make others happy helping in their battles. Wakanda forever

Having struggled with grief, the afterlife scene in Black Panther reduced me to sobs in the theater at release. Seeing the clip now in the tribute is surreal, even as fiction - a work of art by artists - but surreal to know he has himself stepped beyond. Thanks for doing this reaction
Same. If you have lost a parent, especially, that scene hits really hard. That scene is going to destroy me in a different way now.
After I rewatched all of Chadwick Boseman's film work (and some T.V. shows that i could access) it just re-integrated how important it is to be Fearless, Patient, Resilient, and Humble. Chadwick Boseman is and forever will be one of the greatest examples of all those traits. Rest in Power and Peace King
The pain this man must have been in. He's a real superhero for battling Cancer while filming during rigorous hours with a charming smile on his face.

The fact the while he was making his most iconic movies he was helping terminal cancer children, filming his movies he was fighting for his life taking chemo treatments and countless surgeries in between without burdening others makes me admire and miss him even more... We have lost too many amazing people this year. Chadwick Boseman, Kobe, Grant Imahara and just today, we lost Norm Spencer. I hate this death. I hate all of it. These people made such an impact over the course of our lives that it feels like we have lost a member of the family, a childhood friend and a teacher all at once. Each and every time. It just sucks. RIP to all of those who have made an impact and brought perseverance, initiative, love, positive reinforcement and good old fashioned guts to what they do and allowed the rest of us to come on this amazing journey with you....

I cried throughout this video and your guys reaction. Chadwick was one of my heroes. He gave me hope and a sense of pride being a huge superhero fan. The one thing that make me sad the most was when a reporter was asking him about his role for the future black panther 2 movie, and he said I'm dead.... Chadwick Boseman always had quiet inner strength and grace, the drive to show the world who he was, a man who defied the stereotyping of his race with the conviction and eloquence that heros wish they had. He didn't announce or laud any of this nor make mention of his struggles as he knew he didn't need the vapid recognition to detract from his work. The thing about having cancer (of any stage) is that is doesn't automatically make you a different person or a weaker person or a stronger person. He proved whether one survives the cancer or not does not matter it is what you do with your time that counts.

Chadwick was really a great guy.
Whenever I used to see him automatically a smile would come to my face.
There was one scene of him that etched in my mind, from the movie '42' where he goes inside the stadium & vents out his frustration/anger screaming breaking the bat furiously.
That's one of my favourite scenes of all time. Watched it many times.

Watching these videos of people talking about him and talking about their feelings and how they're processing it...is definitely providing a lot of comfort for so many people, especially myself. His loss has impacted so many people...and at times I feel both happy and sad..happy that we have his memories of his legacy but sad that it was cut. I know that God called him home and that he is no longer in pain...but it still hurts..it hurts so bad knowing that he's gone and that he endured in silence trying to make us happy by entertaining us. We owe him.

"In my culture death is not the end as long as we don't forget them" dam it's been one year year and I will never forget this rather than getting over this I have slowly gotten worse every time I watch something with Chadwick in like what if and if he says a line like the one I just quoted I will nearly cry and it will get worse I'm weird like that when my dad told me he died I literally said cool I didn't register it until the evening and my mouth literally just dropped and it sunk in wait he's dead and I just said oh then the video came out and I was just sad and then I rewatched black panther and saw the tribute that marvel had changed the marvel credits like Stan with captain marvel black panther on Disney plus that got me then I watched what if episode 5 and I didn't register it at first again but the I rewatched it and was really really sad I broke I hope he's happier than he was when he was unwell
