To be honest, I think Leila's teaching is way more concise and easier to understand at times than Alex's at times.
Danny has the most underrated podcast I’ve ever seen. Usually a podcast with this many subscribers, it’s very obvious why. Usually it’s poor production quality, terrible questions, socially awkward, etc. It is a matter of time before this podcast blows up because Danny is easily my favorite interviewer currently. My top 3 are Modern Wisdom, Danny Miranda and DOAC.

This is the first time I hear how the mom started drinking. I actually have lots of compassion to that woman. Sounds the divorce broke her and was more than what she could handle. Different people have different level of emotional strength.

We should all be so lucky to be in the presence of a woman like Leila. She was always a 10. Now she's a 10+. And I'm not just talking looks.
Danny is prejudice
Everything she says is amazing but regarding the nose… when you say « if I can make it better… » that’s insecurity. Your nose didn’t need to be « BETTER ». It was already good. Because this is who you are.
I actually want to challenge you on this perspective. You have a right to it but I think she was deeply motivated to change her nose because when she looked in the mirror before she had the work she saw her mother. This can be a great and perhaps unconscious motivator to change appearance. I think she did everything she could to not be like her mom and not looking like her mother completed the process. Even if she was insecure why does someone have to live with that? It's strange how judgmental people can be about what other people choose to do with their own bodies and lives especially if it isn't harming anyone. I think Leila's honesty is amazing. How can you be so confident that you KNOW what someone else experiences when they look in the mirror? You simply can't know what is "better" for someone else, period.
