Does it matter how many winds the coil has? I want to make this project for a college course... How accurate do you have to be with the winding of the magnet wire?
The code is small in size and very fast, basically assemblerPID control would be the best way to go. What brand of microphone do you use to make your videos, the quality is very good.
Hi that's a great and interesting video, i just have a question if you can answer: My problem is the program, i don't have forth ... so how i can put it on arduino doing the sketch?Ther's possibility to have it writed in C ? ty for your answer.
Hi, my friend, congratulations on your work. I could arrange it in writing, as I have some difficulty in the details in the English language. Hugs from Brazil
I just have 7806 Voltage Regulator. Can i use 7806 instead of 7805 ? Thank you every much. Please help me. I stuck with this project like 3 weeks. I dont know, but it doesnot work.
The magnetic field is never turned off fully. When the mosfet turns off, the free wheeling diode across the coil re- circulates the back emf energy into the coil keeping it on for a short period of time.
In the circuit diagram, did you use both 1N4007 and 1N 5818 or we can use either one since both are diodes? Can you kindly tell which order if both are used. Thanks :)
0033mer, Just revisited this video, such a cool project and very concise code to keep a magnet levitate. Just wondering, have you made a video about PID control ?
@0033mr Would you happen to know if I can purchase this design in a working kit? I have a situation that requires a zero friction pendulum (less than 1 pound). It is an improved experiment of Foucault pendulum inside a vacuum chamber. Never before performed in this configuration. Thank you, good day
@@akshatpande1649 Get the power supply out of an old computer (PC). You can use the 12 volt output. www.instructables.com/id/A-Makers-Guide-to-ATX-Power-Supplies/
0033mer if i replace both the capacitor with elctrolytic capcitor with 1 microF each of 6.5 volts rating would the circuit still hold?and also a 12v 2 ampere adapter should be enough to turn on the electromagnet right??
Sir please tell me the program code you have shown in the video, is it only this much or it is longer. I am in final year of my engineering and want to make this project. If you could give me any link regarding the code, I would be very grateful to you. Thankyou😅

I did this project twice, with hall sensor and IR LED, that's incredible !
hey i have some questions. can you help me?
@@PrinceSharma-jz5yq hey dude, for sure.
hey i am doing this project for my school can you answer some of
questions

That works quite well for such a simple control scheme.

this guy sounds super excited each and every second
Forth on Arduino has got to be one of the coolest combos of oddball stuff ever; better than Cheetos and lime.
Nice simple and detailed project... Thanks.
Good work and thank you for teaching the human race!

@0033mer can you please tell me how to identify the levitation point please
good evening, what programming language did you use? If C++, can we see your code?
can you please tell me what the two things besides the regulator are (i am referring to the white and blue boxes)
Super today only I will try

I subsrcibed a week ago and now: an awesome video about an awesome topic! this really is worth the sub!
what size of wire did you used? and how many turns? my problem is about coil....plz answer
Very cool, no hysterisis in the turning on and off of the electromagnet ?

Does consume power
Plz reply that which software you used to upload the code to arduino
Please Reply........🙏
How many hours it can levitate?

I have no PID control videos but I have used Fuzzy Logic which works similar to PID but operates more like how the human brain reasons.
@@0033mer thanks for the tío on fuzzy logic, I’ll look it up !

If you search online there are kits available: www.arttec.net/Levitation/index.html
Is the oh49e necessary ?? If we use some other hall effect sensor would the circuit be effected ??
Any type of linear hall effect sensor will work.
thanks for the reply ,i dont have a lab bench power supply how to i supply 10 v to it ??
should i use 9v batteries in series cause we already have a voltage regulator

How we could make a electromagnet in home
Arduino code plssssss, i cant see it in forth.
