I cannot even begin to imagine the challenges Toby Gutteridge has overcome. He really is the definition of “by strength and guile”. He’s previously sunk into the abyss of despair and has found the grit, determination, discipline and courage to climb out, get to the point where he has surpassed all his previous limitations and forge a fruitful future for himself. Well done! Well done indeed!
Perseverance is definitely something in you're makeup that others couldn't even contemplate after an incident like that. A proper special forces man 👍👍
Obviously he is impressive, but everyone will mention that anyway; so I shall add that Forces News deserves credit for not merely showing hooraah-stuff but also what an ultimate sacrifice can follow upon joining the armed forces.
It's amazing how Toby has come through after his terrible injuries. He & so many of his brothers in arms are an example of bravery that most of us will never have to experience. Thank you all for your service, you are all Heroes.💖🇬🇧
All I can say is Respect big Respect for giving your all and your life to serve us and to protect us and our beautiful country 🇬🇧 from the Evils of this world. Respect brother and thank you from me and my children and family. You and people who give their all and life to protect us and our country 🇬🇧and other countries are the true heroes of this world in my eyes as with out you this beautiful earth would be a thousand times worse that what she already is. Thank you again. Stay safe.
I can’t imagine what it must feel like to having barely any function, an itchy nose becomes impossible. Is there any wonder he became mentally unwell with what he’s been through! To become paralysed here in the uk is one thing, an air ambulance would come get a person and delicately & carefully take them to a major trauma hospital. This wasn’t like that, it was a war zone! 😢 Watching this kind of video makes my taped up, swollen, painful finger joints worth making crochet poppies for the British legion to sell. It gives me the ooomf to do another daily quota of 20 tomorrow. Had a day off today so my hands could have a break.
Best of luck mate all the best from 🇨🇦Canada hopefully with the miracles of modern medicine maybe soon there will be some kind of surgical procedure to help you. It's a good idea to get a nice physio nurse to help keep you muscles working I know it's easier said than done but iam sure you will get yourself sorted out . 🇬🇧👍
