It's because people are watching it in an already negative perspective. I understand Korean, and when I watched it the first time before the drama started, it just seemed like he said, "Yo, I am" in Daegu dialect and the other boys were just copying his accent and high fived him cos he was creative to use his dialect. And uhh, they were obviously NOT speaking in English??? So I don't understand why non-korean-speakers are assuming they're saying an English word when it's OBVIOUSLY Korean. -.-
