I LOVE this is how you lose the time war but it is supposed to be confusing 😂. Just go with it, you’re not really supposed to know what’s going on until the very end but the writing is so poetic and beautiful and the romance is amazing!!!!! ❤

I’m hoping you try out This Is How You Lose The Time War when you’re in the mood for it! You definitely need to be focused to take in all the info and adjust to the more “pretentious” writing style. It may be confusing at first but it will make sense at the end ❤
You make me want to give The Cruel Prince another chance. I made it to chapter 10 and was hating it so much that I DNFed it but the way you talk about it with so much love and excitement makes me want to love it too.

As someone who is on the last book of TOG, it's a roller coaster ride and it's makes the first book look like a walk in the park 😂 it's definitely a different vibes from ACOTAR as this goes deep into fantasy lore and politics with some subplots of romance in there but definitely not the focus

yesss I am so glad I didn't put the cruel price trilogy off because it is literally so good. I will forever be recommending it! lol it has been so long since I read the first book in the shatter me series I need to continue it soon!!
@@HalJones yess please do the second book’s first half was making me suffer a bit but the second half and the rest of the series is soooo worth it (in general adam makes me suffer when I read about him but he gets a bit better later on)

You should have started with assassins blade girl. Sarah j Maas put it first on her website for the reading order bc it helps the series line up and understand Celaena, makes so much more sense after reading assassins blade everything in tog & crown of midnight
Either way though it’s an amazing series you’ll just have to use a little more brain power😂 once you read assassins blade you’ll be like ohhh I see why everyone said to read this one first bc it’s like a bunch of novellas that are prequels to get to know the characters , still excited to see you read on! You’re gonna fall in love with this series

10:42 if you like spice and a good storyline, both of us (two people own this account lol) definitely recommend the my vampire series by Jenna Levine. We both love the books, and if you like a spicy little cute story the books are incredible, the first one is I believe a forced proximity romance and the second is fake dating. I’m not sure about the third or forth since they aren’t out yet, but it is confirmed there will be four books!

Pausing to comment: I belong to the minority who didn't like Beach read AS MUCH as I liked People we meet on vacations and Booklovers. I loved Gus, but overall I think the book was too focused on Gus's cult book, and I really didn't like that, so it made me not love it as much.
I am currently in the middle of Happy place, and I think get why you love it so much. ❤
Haha I am in the minority I DNF'd Beach Read and can't bring myself to read any other Emily Henry books.
