FARO Portugal Algarve, beautiful beaches and short day trips to pretty little towns

Things to visit, see and do in and around Faro Portugal. We visited in January when the climate is mild in Portugal. If you want a short cost effective break in Portugal then Faro is a good option it's a 20 min bus ride or only a 1 hour 15 min walk from the Airport to central Faro.
We recommend the Ludo walk which you can reach by bus from central Faro, the Carmo Church with the unique Bone Chapel, the Ferry from Faro old town to Faro beach and day trips to Olhao and Tavira.
