===ABOUT THE SONG:
This was the first ever live performance of "Ganz Anders" (November 2015). The song is sung in Bavarian dialect and starts out rather depressively. Though our music is mostly associated with dancing, party and good vibes, it's obvious that "to everything there is a season..." - just as well for being sad and depressed and melancholic. This is about the feeling when you're just feeling bad and you just need a break from all the merry-go-round surrounding you, trying to tell people that it's nothing grave and you'll be back in the party mood soon...
We don't have a lot of reggae songs (it's almost impossible to play reggae bass and sing at the same time), so this is one of the very few ones; perfect for taking a breath in the crowd, to regain some strength to start the pogo again in the middle part... when Fabian first showed the song to the band our former guitar player Raffi (from Sentilo Sono) insisted that we HAVE to play this song. Good idea, since then this is one of our staples in any set, though not so many people outside of southern Bavaria might understand the words.
===ABOUT THE BAND:
RELATIV RAPID (formerly RAPID) is a ska/rock-band from southern Germany (est. 2013). The 6 to 8 guys mix all type of styles from all over the world into their offbeat music and sing in about seven languages (English, German, Spanish, French, Russian, Arabian, Bavarian).
Should be interesting for fans of: Ska-P, Russkaja, Ärzte, Skaos, Desorden Publico, Farin Urlaub, Karamelo Santo, Panteon Rococo, Leningrad, Sublime, Markscheider Kunst (and vice versa... check these bands out, if you like our music!)
