Therefore these companies hammer the brand name under some other acceptable product Ads such as Soft Drinks, T Shirts, Shoes, etc. Its called Surogate Advertising.
So while alcohol users know what Imperial Blue stands for ( i.e. alcohol), but such Ads reinforce and hammer the brand name again and again and that helps in the brand name sticking in peoples mind.
