Just got back from a week long mother daughter trip there. It was safe and clean , the food was incredible. The people were friendly and very proud of their country. You get a little of everything there, nature culture and the grit of a big city. Coming from NYC, I felt safer there then home. Would go back in a heart beat.

Backpack bag should always be placed in front of your body even you are in Europe. Pickpockets are rampant anywhere… it happens even inside the plane
Jemaa El Fnaa Square. I heard that place is the epicenter of old Marrakesh all those crowds and yet it looks safe and peaceful. Good work Moroccan Security.
It didn't seem to bad the day I went - just need to vigilant of pickpocketing because of the crowds.
I see many who look like international tourists eating at those local food stalls, which means they must be safe and reliable.
I'm sure they are, but I've had bad experiences with food stalls in super touristy areas😅. I like the neighborhood stalls better.

My few friends 5 years ago have had holidays in Morocco and told me that each times they lost the way direction, people always ask for money to guide them. Did you experienced like this???
Those are guides that get payed for giving direction if you asked someone else like a vendor or a store owner there you shouldn't have a problem just be careful.just cause morroco is nice and safe with sincere people doesn't mean everyone good there are also bad people.BTW:I'm Ahmed from Marrakech Morroco.enjoy👍😊
Yes people, children ask money because very poor people..
we went Toilet and young girl was giving some toilet paper for money,,, so I give this girl $50 and she was crying 😢
Also we was camels tour and making photos and this man was asking money for his children education!! I give $$$ and he was absolutely amazing and very thankful 🥲

@@tariktachefin1888 انا سعودي ذهبت الى مصر والمغرب ساحة الفناء في مراكش نفس منطقة الحسين والأزهر وخان الخليلي والمعز في القاهرة لكن الفرق أن في القاهرة المباني الأثرية ضخمه كأنك تمشى وسط متحف اسلامي مفتوح اكثر دولتين احبهم في التراث والاثار الاسلاميه المغرب ومصر وسوريا الله يردها لأهلها ذهبت اليها قبل الثورة كانت رائعة

@@abomoaaz7245 أما عن المعمار فلأن من بنوا مصر كانوا أتراكًا في أغلبهم وثقافتهم تختلف عن ثقافة المغاربة الذين حافظوا على خصلة "التواضع" كما يوصي الاسلام، مباني وقصور ومساجد المغاربة تجدها متواضعة من الخارج لكن ما إن تدخلها حتى تجدها الاجمل معمارا على الاطلاق

Good call on avoiding those fruit stands. They’re just a low quality, watered down sugary cocktails targeted towards high traffic tourist traps like Jamaa El-Fna. As a matter of fact, avoid all food in this area.
