Once this S4 was up and running even without launch control, the JDM guys were up against it, perfect shifting or bust. Charles and Paul deserved some payback for the humiliation of the blown Jetta but I gotta say, close to 500hp AND DSG was a bit of a cheat code lol
I was rooting for them, but they definitely cheated. lol. Forget the mulligan with the Jetta. $1500 for a B8 S4, even with a bad DSG, some spray paint vandalism, and 212k miles, isn't reproducible in the real world. They got a hardcore friends discount on that one.

The vandalism could mean salvage title if they claim it on insurance, as it would be a full body paint job and new trim to bring it up to standard. The trans job and body job exceed the value of the 200,000 mile appraisal, hence the price.
@@CB-sh9zz You sound ignorant to S4's. lol. Stock they dyno around the 290awhp mark. A simple tune gets them to 380awhp on 93 octane. Dual pulley cars make over 400+WHP on 93 all day long. Add a E40 blend with some Meth and you're running 10 second 1/4 mile times. My bone stock 2010 S4 ran a best of 13.0 @106mph.I did a stage 1 tune it went a best of 12.0 @115mph on 93 octane. No launch control. Added a DSG transmission tune with launch control and my best is 11.7 @118mph on the street. (On my channel btw). But anyways, 3.0tfsi's are VERY tunable. There are guys running 8 second 60-130 times on a stock blower - which is hellcat territory.

Do you think that Honda shifter was working correctly? His dashboard falling out on his shifting hand did not help. And he just stuck it back without duct tape on it, so it could/would happen again.
Both of the guys on the Audi team literally work on VAG cars for a living so I’m sure they know that, but pulling the supercharger and lower intake manifolds if a pretty big job just for carbon cleaning

The civic isn't preloading :( that's a huge necessity for a fwd car. Huge increase to launching as well as keeps the risk of snapping axles lower. Great race though!!

Congratulations on the victory. So yeah, the chain reaction of unhappy car is a thing... we've seen where there are POD issues (missing in this case) and thus EPB and ABS are technically just fine, but unhappy. Fun surprise to learn at the track... but a win is a win.
Yeah I remember when in my Citroen Picasso that cable broke under the seat and I had a lot of error codes. I had to replace the whole seat just to shut the computer up 😂

How do I replace the alternator on a 2006 Camry 2.4L? The last guy broke the boss you are supposed to use to get slack on the serpentine belt. Mom's mechanic showed me some tool he used to replace the belt, but every serpentine belt tool I find is a skinny breaker bar. How do I loosen the belt with a broken boss?

The civic isn't preloading :( that's a huge necessity for a fwd car. Huge increase to launching as well as keeps the risk of snapping axles lower.

Congratulations on the victory. So yeah, the chain reaction of unhappy car is a thing... we've seen where there are POD issues (missing in this case) and thus EPB and ABS are technically just fine, but unhappy. Fun surprise to learn at the track... but a win is a win.

Yeah I remember when in my Citroen Picasso that cable broke under the seat and I had a lot of error codes.
I had to replace the whole seat just to shut the computer up 😂

3.) Go NA Euro vs NA JDM?
4.) Gears and Gasoline chooses a car for you, and Humble Mechanic Shop DAP Paul chooses a car for Gears and Gasoline. Have 10 days to build and learn the car you guys bought for each other and build it, then Drag Race.

I’m confused how you rolling pre green light isn’t a jump start
The signal for the car leaving starts when your tire stop interrupting the light beam at the start line, which means you roughly can move 1ft before your car is considered as moving. That's called 1ft rollout.
I am so happy the euro won! I was nervous no joke, but I wish it was it was a swapped car vs swapped car or nice car vs nice car! I do realize that the budget will always be more painful to the euro(everything is just more $) over all so happy you guys won!!!

How do I replace the alternator on a 2006 Camry 2.4L? The last guy broke the boss you are supposed to use to get slack on the serpentine belt. Mom's mechanic showed me some tool he used to replace the belt, but every serpentine belt tool I find is a skinny breaker bar.
How do I loosen the belt with a broken boss?
