Canadian women need to have some kind of weapon legalized to defend ourselves. Right now we are sitting ducks and will go to jail if we defend ourselves. In addition police flat out won’t take reports of violence. Even in ancient law the “ peasants”, were allowed sticks. And what is “ equal force” when a man weighs 350 and his victim weighs 92 lbs? Necessary force requires us to have a tool to help us.
