Just got my M1+; I went with it over the M1 due to this video even though I wanted the smaller grip. Weird that their site says that the only difference between the M1 and the Plus are the grip when that’s not actually the case. I ordered the 33mm M1 grip to make it more manageable, but overall this machine is bigger and heavier than I anticipated lol. I forget how much smaller things look in men’s hands 😂
@@Joe-v5y1j bro I got one and it’s great. Works very well, the batery last forever. The only thing I’d like to see improved is the app. It worth it believe me.
@@jonathanperalta2354i use 200h 4.1mm is good, work smooth 100hz for shadow and packing. 3.7mm is soft but for lining is not ok. For b&g i recomand 3.0mm. 4.5mm is perfect for packing samoan tattoo, cyber tribal medium size, for black work i dont recomand this machine is soft indiferent witch cam use.
Has anyone else had issues with the grip adjustment? The needle is super shallow, even when the grips screwed all the way on it still doesn’t come close to the tip of the barrel. No needle hang possible or even close to it. I’ve tried 3 different cartridges Kwadron, Bishop, and Emalla. All come up short so it feels like I’m riding the tube on line work and pooling ink
Sounds like the push rod on the cam is too short or there was a manufacture error on the grip or threading. Fk irons flux had a similar issue they never fixed until the flux max but this is thr first I'm hearing about it on an acus. Having that issue annoyed me big time send it for service asap . Try one of your other cams that came with it first to see if it's all of them or just one
So I’m confused, this review says that the new acus has updates, like electronics on the main board, silver motor part, etc, yet the acus website says the only difference between the acus and plus is the size of the grip. Is the newer version not out yet, and if so when will it release?
Cuz there isnt an update to the motor … its the same … they changed just the case and the body from mate to “shiny”…i think here is just a missinformation… or he uses a smaller cam for storke like a 3.7 in the video…
@@reggae8420everything he reads from this 4:41 point onward seems to be minor tweaks and improvements. Are the cams, batteries, and grips interchangeable between the old and the new due to the thread and bearing upgrades?
@@jerzeydevil77 thread patterns are still the same.
Unfortunately in Canada, that's a $2000 machine before shipping or import fees.
Yo, on barber dts the "plus" still has the same case as the normal m1, im really confused if plus stands for the version 2 or it doesn't?
