Also Metalhead and Basshead at the same time. Defqon.1 is great as well, both are awesome. With the lockdown event they broke some RUclips live records with 8 million viewers. rumors are that the upcoming Qlimax event will even be on Netflix
Same here, I'm into raw black metal, dsbm and death metal but I absolutely love jumpstyle and hardstyle. One day I'll go to a Behemoth show and the next a rave. I also like lyrical hip hop and Tool (Tool is their own genre of music).
love this reaction! I'm actually curious what you guys think of festivals like Defqon.1, Qlimax, Ground Zero Festival etc etc or artists like Radical Redemption (produces raw hardstyle and is known for his agressive style and drumming skills etc) There are tons of content about this music genre that you guys can react to, and this will definetly attract more viewers from this realm!
It's awesome to see you reacting to this kind of stuff and really embracing it. Like others I would definitely recommend checking out Defqon 1 or Qlimax stuff.
Yo guys, a random dude and hardstyle lover from germany here ^^ In fact, the edm community here is 90% mainstream, 8% Techno and 2% Hardstyle/DNB/Goa. So we havent much good dancers too and i guess this video was from round about 2013 maybe. The best hardstyle and i think i speak for the most of us comes from the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy :) There are so many like Zatox, Tatanka, Showtek, Bass Modulators, Headhunterz, Wasted Penguinz, Psyko Punkz, Ran-D, D-Block & S-te-fan, Wildstylez, Brennan Heart, Noisecontrollers, Coone and of course not to forget about Villain, the best MC, Announcer and Partystarter in Hardstyle History
I love this. I'm a metal head too but I go to hardstyle and hardcore festivals. All this music are started in the underground of the Netherlands🇳🇱. Oh yea I'm 52 and love all kind of music 😁 this my profession
Wow never expected to see this reaction here. I’m a metalhead too but my other side is electronic music, especially hardstyle. This is some really early Hardstyle, nowdays it’s something else. You should react to any set of the event “Qlimax”.
Yeah, Im pretty sure this is all renamed Rawstyle now and new age Hardstyle is now "Hardstyle". Hardstyle has been my one true love since 05'. Can't get enough
Yeah hardstyle changed a lot. I can't really get into the new stuff, after the removed the reverse bass it went down hill for me. In my opinion its soft now and I like the harder music. Check out MKN, he does a reverse bass podcast every month. His newer mixs are getting softer but his older ones hit so hard
I love how you guys appreciate all kinds of good music and dance and are not such dogmatics that limit themselves with "only metal is good music" nonsense...
Interesting stuff to see on this channel :D Been a fan of gabber since the 90s and later all other harder styles from hardstyle to freeform, love it all (as well as all kinds of metal). Never got around to going to Germany, Belgium or Holland for big parties unfortunately :( Tbh, Travis looks like a hardstyle DJ in this video xD
While i appreciate it I never could get into gabber. I prefer shuffle or jump, but do agree they are very talented. Gabber looks sort of like reverse jump right? Making sure I'm thinking of the right thing
Try to listening to Hardcore / Gabber Terror music .... It's faster & harder stuff there .... but the REAL fastest hard electronic genre is Speedcore ( this style is freakin insaaaane )
Well this is a blast from the past. So old that this style has kind of died out. These days people just do the hakken if anything, also the music genre is a lot different compared to back then (though I imagine you can probably find some modern 'classic' hardstyle). For an idea of how the scene looks these days check out videos from Qlimax (Q-Dance company puts most of their festivals on their youtube now).

Hardstyle is origin Dutch (Netherlands) like hardcore and they have also the biggest festivals. Germany had most eurodance and techno is more Belgian/german in Origin but newbeat and house together with the biggest clubs in europe is Belgium, or rather was.. now oversized events has killed the most of our mega disco's (Mega Dance Temples). @@mandibiedermann2246 Jumpstyle is from Belgium (1996)... Most early Hardstyle DJ's and producers are Dutch, like The Prophet, Zany, Lady Dana, Isaac, Pavo, Luna and Deepack. It then made its move across to Europe where it was stripped back of a lot of it's more funky elements (the Birmingham sound in England was very influential here).
