1) The soviet Union was socialist, specifically Marxist-Leninist. There can never be a communist state because that would be a contradiction (Ceaușescu might disagree though).
2) Anarch-syndicalism is not the same as anarcho-communism. For some, the second may be the end goal but it isn't identical. It should still count as socialism.
3) Venezuela is not socialist, they're just similar to parts of Europe in that they have robust welfare programs.

Well maybe the issue then, is that you've never lived in a Capitalist country (see how I've just spun it), because if you did (plenty to choose from) you will realise how much of a Communist country China actually is.
In China, if the Government decided that RUclips wasn't good enough for the people, or couldn't find a way to profit from it etc, then it would be gone tomorrow, where I live that would never happen, as I live in a Democracy.

India very much runs on capitalist principles. It's preamble does state that it is a socialist state but I must point out that the preamble is not enforceable,the constitution OTOH is. Indira Gandhi,the then PM put it in the preamble as a mark thanks to the USSR.
Also, marking the Indian state of Kerala as communist is ridiculous. The communist party of India while does have the word in it is essentially a democratic socialist party,much like the green parties or the labour parties in Europe. They come and go from power by valid regular elections.
The irony of Cuba is that Fidel was originally pro-democracy, and pro U.S. It wasn't until after numerous embargoes and assassination attempts did he switch to full on communism and strengthened ties with Russia creating the Cuban missile crisis. A lot of Western european countries do have socialist parties that are in actuality social-democrat parties. They're still named "Socialist Party" tho. For exemple in 1980-1987 and 2012-2017 France was ruled by the Socialist Party.
