1957 strat gets a humbucker

Hey! What exactly did you use to secure the template to the body (Without causing damage to the paint)? Some version of 3M Command tape, maybe?

It is a thin gasket material with 3m adhesive on both sides. It is a drop, or throw-away, from a project we do at my day job. It works well in most instances, but it has a thickness of about .04", or a little more than 1/2 a mil.

Thanks for the idea and video. I acquired an old Fender Custom Shop Strat body and plan to do the same thing.
