She is DEAD on. I experienced hair loss my dermatologist gave me shots and it worked some but not efficiently. Come to find out, I am chronically anemic iron deficient. Fixed my levels and voila my hair flourished. Ladies pray and do you own research
Of all the Mineral deficiencies, not once did I hear her mention IRON,🤦🏽♀️ which is probably the most common culprit of hair loss that we dont even consider. Women who suffer from iron deficiency related anemia often experience hair loss as well. I was seeing a dermatologist for a couple of years with very little results. I got injections and topical creams and shampoos. NOTHING! Until a neurologist suggested iron infusion treatments, because my iron levels were so low at this point I was suffering from severe restless leg syndrome. And I had been taking iron pills for years with very little improvement. After 9 MONTHS of infusion I notice my hair was beginning to grow and thicken back up.
So True. Also: It's good to Wash your Rice of impurities & chemicals. There is little Nutrition & Mineral lost. Most of it is in the Rice. Great info, but some before and after pics or live before/after models would've been nice, as well as the specialist showing the viewers her real hair instead of faux hair attached to hers (pretty obvious).
For the people talking shit about her having BRAIDS.. like in this video.. or if she has a weave.or wig on... What does that hair to do with rice water? She has braids.. what's the problem.. Are Doctors who heal patients not allowed to get sick? The rice water can be used on relaxed or natural hair.. Never once did we hear her say RICE WATER IS ONLY FOR GOOD NATURAL HAIR🙄😒.. @@AD-ye6mw Rice water smoothes the hair's cuticles shut thus shutting out hydration. I'm dealing with something very similar to this right now. And, I've gone through this myself so I speak from experience.
@LULU Same here the rice water is supposed to lock in hydration but if your hair isn't hydrated internally it'll become further dehydrated. Even if you are drinking water you are probably not drinking enough for your body mass and or other food consumption is causing excess loos of hydration, therefore your hair skin and nails usually suffer as a result. So it's not protein sensitivity but lack of internal hydration.

ALPO YEO people will be out here thinking it’s a one stop solution for their issue. It could be multitudes of possibilities. NOT just a “mineral deficiency “ I’m sticking to topic hun. I’m a cosmetologist and have been in the healthcare field for 11 years now. Stick to reading and scrolling past comments . Clearly this type of education is beyond you 🙃
BricKs well you know sometimes some people who think they are so educated are really the ones that are being laughed at... for instance a lot of you black females who come out here walking around in public with those bootleg weaves and those Thrift shop Chinese fake wigs and thank you all look good but people really laughing at y'all because y'all done put chemicals in your hair and burn your hair off head...😠😖
ALPO YEO yet here YOU are. Watching 2 Black women discuss hair loss.🧐Were you laughing when you started watching this video since this woman thinks she’s “so educated “ as well? Then decided to comment on my comment because in a sense , YOU believed everything this lady said based on her lab jacket, and HER truth of the education she obtained to give to ya.🤔 Now it’s,” Our hair is burned out “ due to chemical use. Yet we wear wigs and weaves. Do you know the purpose of a wig? You out here really thinking we bald 👩🏾🦲and that’s why we wear wigs 😩🤣. What’s funnier in conjunction to that, is your nerve to say we’re being laughed at when Caucasians do the same thing and look a whole damn mess with a botched body to compliment the tragedy. 😭😂 I’m soooo laughing at you and your fave right now.💀💀🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😂🤣😭🤦🏾♀️
@@Kodak718 That kind of thinking have so many women walking around with zero edges, thinning and bald spots. There is no convincing me that wearing weave produce long healthy hair. To much evidence that shows that's not the case.
N Jenkins ....News flash, that's all that grew my hair, my hair was all the way down my back.... coming out of a weave. It was my go to hair growth. The problem is sometimes the hairdresser is not doing the weave correctly or the person receiving the weave is not taking care of their hair under the weave which should be common sense.
@@Adnawtsemaj171 It was not the weave that grew your hair smh. There are far more women who hair has been damaged from wearing weave than those that claim that their hair has benefited from it. You are an anomaly.
@@njenkins2105 One her channel she wears a pixie cut because she likes her own hair short. She says she uses the rice water treatment on her own hair for health and she has to cut it more frequently because the rice water grows her hair so fast. I use it and it works!
This is for all races... Hair is hair.. Different in many ways.. But it's still all hair.. You'll never know if it's for your hair.... until you try it on your hair..
Internal deficiencies is the problem I agree. However the auverydic hair remedies have created adverse results on my hair & scalp. When it comes to organic ingredients on my hair butters, oils, herbs & extracts are as far as I can go. Aloe gel, rice water, spices, apple cider vinegar, fruits & veggies, ketchup, mustard, relish & mayo are a NO on my hair I would rather eat these ingredients. The results are always horrible for me.
Latisha Mitchell 😂 it’s sarcasm! However there are a lot people who have put mayo in their hair for protein and moisture. The point I’m trying to make is certain food sources doesn’t belong in hair and I come across so many blogs or videos telling us to put food in our hair. Food enzymes & molecules are just too large to be beneficial in hair. Hair care products were created for a very important reason and that is for PH balance and many other reasons. When the hair and scalp isn’t properly Ph balanced it can cause hair & scalp issues overtime. I’m not a fan of food in hair and it’s getting out of control. Shampoo, conditioner (protein & moisture), & a natural derived styler/sealer is really all we need along with a healthy diet, lifestyle & healthy hair care practices.
My only pet peeve with so many RUclips videos on black hair is this...the person usually talkin about how to fix this or grow that has, a damn weave, wig or some damn extensions in their OWN hair...so clearly they aren't following their own 'helpful' tips

Queen Kinsey no don't put nothing in your hair if you pregnant you just watch and put some Vaseline petroleum jelly in your hair until you have that baby.. don't go put no perm in your hair or nothing... the next thing the baby will be bald head before it come out before it's born...😠😖
Well making the shampoo and conditioner is a no, since I'm allergic to coconut
Just leave the Coconut out and replace with an oil that's good for hair.. that you are not allergic 2.
What is the name of her channel?
Brown vs White long grain rice? Did she specify?
She said it didn't matter what kind of rice. As long as it isn't instant rice.
Go to her utube channel she has more detailed videos
@askdebbieabouthair
AMARIs Bella - Thank you
I'm still recovering from hairloss
Great info, but some before and after pics or live before/after models would've been nice, as well as the specialist showing the viewers her real hair instead of faux hair attached to hers (pretty obvious).
You hair grows....Period!
What’s fen a gree
Brunette Coleman it’s called Fenugreek. Can be found in seed or leaf form.
What's the name of her RUclips channel I didn't understand you

@@INDIGO.GODDESS_573 Thank you
@@remonamorgan-block4893 You're welcome.. They flashed it so quickly.. I didn't catch it the first time either..
Yawl sound so ignorant.. She is allowed to talk about natural remedies and healthy hair alternatives, even if she has a weave, wig or braids in her hair . SMH...
AMARIs Bella , because she has braids, and is taking about natural hair, I ,like many others , tend to wonder if the person believes what they are telling me.. People just don't have much respect for people with fake hair.... Especially when they are talking about hair..... They just don't!
it's like going to a dermatologist in the dermatologist have bad skin that's what I think she's talkin about show us your healthy hair it's like going to a diet doctor and the doctor weighs 600 lb
Yasss
Trina lost some weight.. good for her
And you better save that rice to cook your next meal with too...😀😂
But isn't all this still just topical treatments... doesn't alter your internal zinc, or copper, or anything else levels...
Tina's baby Go to her RUclips channel. She has more information. But remember, your skin is your body’s largest organ. You can absorb toxins or minerals through the skin/scalp.

A
She is showing us topical treatments, but she also mentioned the body needing certain vitamins and minerals.
Latisha Mitchell The Doctor is beautifully correct. Go to The Minister of Wellness to find out how to get all the nutrients INSIDE your body. Actually those two people need to be working together! They’re bringing the same message but different parts of the body.
Let me not leave out the videos by University of Common Sense-Tim Morrow.
All things natural
Great to have the specialist on the show but segment was rushed. More time was needed for the lady to explain and educate people
If your hair is protein sensitive DO NOT USE RICE WATER
Lulu protein sensitivity is as a resullt of dehydration. So incresed water intake is necessary.
LULU thank you
It also changes your hair natural texture..Takes a while to get back to your original hair type.
I agree with some of the things she said, but I would"ve like to see her natural hair..
Yeslia B ..... GO TO HER RUclips CHANNEL. She keeps her hair short, very stylist.
She has nice healthy hair. She usually wear her hair in a nice short cut.
Within the 1st 15 seconds: "We all know the struggle of this, our hair.....one of our biggest obstacles" -not positive or healthy choice of words here. Uplift, uplift!
I wish there was more time. Seems like she had to rush.
Win With Keshia she has a full channel. Just type her name in.
And to get all your nutrients INSIDE your body (which also helps the hair to grow and the body to heal), please check out The Minister of Wellness!
I sware the doctor and minister should work together!!
A headache could also stem from dehydration, lack of sleep, deprivation of food... not just a sign of deficiency in magnesium or potassium. 🧐
BricKs what are you talkin about sleep deprivation??? Stay on topic please this is about hair loss damn...😠😖
ALPO YEO people will be out here thinking it’s a one stop solution for their issue. It could be multitudes of possibilities. NOT just a “mineral deficiency “
I’m sticking to topic hun.
😭😂 I’m soooo laughing at you and your fave right now.💀💀🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😂🤣😭🤦🏾♀️
IDK I'm so skeptical about listening to women talk about growing out long healthy hair when they wear weave. I need to see your hair.
Well, sometimes wearing weave, if hair is cared for underneath, can produce long health hair.
Chocolate ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Is this for black men as well?
This is for all races... Hair is hair.. Different in many ways.. But it's still all hair..
You'll never know if it's for your hair.... until you try it on your hair..
AMARIs Bella : Thanks.
I have never heard of the ketchup, relish, and mustard for hair. That doesn't sounds good
Latisha Mitchell 😂 it’s sarcasm!
Sooo can u drink this
My only pet peeve with so many RUclips videos on black hair is this...the person usually talkin about how to fix this or grow that has, a damn weave, wig or some damn extensions in their OWN hair...so clearly they aren't following their own 'helpful' tips
I read that you should only have 2% or less of copper! 🤔
One more thing, Isaiah 3:17.
Are those her real braids?
No she has a short haircut
