    1. The harmonica sounds like a fiddle. LOL. 2. Back in February I finally made an effort to memorize The lyrics. And now I will be able to play it on harmonica as well. Thanks for posting

Hi Norbert, you can use any key of harmonica you like to follow tabs (you just can't play along with the backing track unless you have the right key).

Question, I just bought a Lee Oskar Melody Maker in the key of C. To my disappointment the C is in the second position with Dm being in the first position. I don't understand why they are labeled this way. My question is: Which one do I need to buy where C is in the first position?

Hi John, yes Lee Oskar harmonicas can be a bit confusing with their labelling. The Melody Maker is labelled in 2nd position because it is intended to be played in 2nd position. You should buy a Major Diatonic if you want to play in 1st position, otherwise you're going to have a note which is "wrong" then trying to follow my tabs. Major Diatonics are labelled in 1st, so you just need to buy a C: leeoskar.com/major-diatonic-harmonica/. I hope this helps! Cheers. Liam

@@Learntheharmonica Thanks Liam. I have the Major Diatonics in C, D, E flat, G, and A. I still need B flat, F and maybe a low C. I mostly play melodies so I thought I would try something different that's why I thought I would try the Melody Maker but it wouldn't play right for me and I didn't know why so thank you for your input. I really appreciate it. This MM is going in my junk drawer. Thanks again for your reply.
