Thank you for your elaborate explanation. It really helps and I really appreciate your answer. I thought 'notice' would be used when there's change in like hair style or something. But now I think I got it. I need to read and make many example sentences. I also asked Chat GPT and let me share the answer here. ---------------------- In the sentence "We went inside and I noticed right away the place was packed," the use of "noticed" suggests that the speaker became aware of the crowdedness immediately upon entering. The reason for using "noticed" instead of simply stating "the place was packed" could be due to several factors: Surprise or Unexpectedness: The speaker may not have expected the place to be packed, so they specifically mention their observation to convey surprise or unexpectedness. For example, if they were expecting the place to be quiet or empty, the crowdedness might catch them off guard. Personal Observation: "Noticed" implies personal observation or perception. Even if the crowdedness is expected, the speaker is emphasizing their own immediate perception of the situation upon entering. Emphasis: By using "noticed," the speaker emphasizes the act of becoming aware of the crowdedness. It highlights their attention to detail or their ability to quickly perceive their surroundings. So, the usage of "noticed" in this context doesn't necessarily indicate overwhelmment by the crowdness but rather emphasizes the speaker's immediate perception or awareness of the situation.

It didn't look like anyone was leaving anytime soon.
"It didn't look like anyone was leaving anytime soon"과 "It didn't look like anyone would leave anytime soon"은 비슷한 의미를 전달하지만, 약간의 뉘앙스 차이가 있습니다. - "It didn't look like anyone was leaving anytime soon"은 과거의 특정 시점에서 현재 진행형 상황을 묘사하며, 그 당시에는 아무도 곧 떠날 것 같지 않았다는 의미입니다. - "It didn't look like anyone would leave anytime soon"은 과거의 특정 시점에서 미래에 대한 예상을 표현합니다.

In the sentence "We went inside and I noticed right away the place was packed," the use of "noticed" suggests that the speaker became aware of the crowdedness immediately upon entering. The reason for using "noticed" instead of simply stating "the place was packed" could be due to several factors:
Surprise or Unexpectedness: The speaker may not have expected the place to be packed, so they specifically mention their observation to convey surprise or unexpectedness.

The other day, we went to the pho restaurant right beside the king station. I knew that they recently opened, but I didn't expect it would be packed around 3 like mid time. Well, we noticed that it was fully packed. All the tables were occupied, and it didn't look like anyone was leaving anytime soon. So I tunred to my friend as just I was about to suggest trying different place, my friends walked over to a radom table and asked if we could share the table with them. And I was like ... "What the hell are you doing" that's rude right? Well, I mean I found that inapproriate. But the couple at that table was very cool with that and we sat right next to them.. I still found that kind of awkward tho...Yeah but it turns out my friends does that all the time. Anyways the food was really good there. 🙂
I found that is really inappropriate
I found that was really inappropriate.
It didn't look like anyone was leaving anytime soon.
"It didn't look like anyone was leaving anytime soon"과 "It didn't look like anyone would leave anytime soon"은 비슷한 의미를 전달하지만, 약간의 뉘앙스 차이가 있습니다.
- "It didn't look like anyone was leaving anytime soon"
- "It didn't look like anyone would leave anytime soon"
1번째의 의미라면 anyone was going to leave가 되어야 할것 같은데..
