- Agricultural chief scientists of G20 member counties are meeting from April 17-19 in Varanasi to explore joint actions towards science-based solutions to achieve sustainable and profitable agri-food systems. 80 foreign delegates from G20 Member States are participating in the event whose theme is ‘Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems for Healthy People and Planet’.
Various issues of agriculture research and development including agriculture R&D. food security and nutrition, Climate Smart Agriculture, Digital Agriculture, Public Private Partnership, etc. have been included for discussion. The annual "Meetings of Agricultural Chief Scientists of G20 States (MACS-G20)", which have taken place since 2012 seek to address central questions in fields of agriculture and nutrition which are too great to be solved with only national efforts and to better coordinate agricultural research systems and to seek and apply common solutions strategies.

Plz continue the longer time duration of the episode.. Because it is hard to cover the whole aspects of the topic in 25minutes..so it will be more beneficial if the time duration will be longer as the last one.

Now it's time to discuss things at microlevel and practical solutions for problems on the Indian soil. Only talking about digital agriculture, climate change and so on will not work, these things are well known to every educated person. There is no coordination and common vision between central and state governments. And the least importance to R&D in agriculture, short of trustworthy high yielding varieties and so on. No practical application of expert ideas on the ground because that are mostly impractical on the indian soil and these are western dominated ideas and thoughts which are developed considering rich farmers(actually farmer cum businessman).
