nylon thread is a must
cant one use cotton thread(which comes for jewellery making)?
can we secure it with crimp beads just like nylon thread?

In my experience crimp beads don't work well with cotton, if you are using cotton I would recommend knotting the ends instead of using crimp beads

All is ok but which size of beads, thread nd needle u used,u didn't show the text, If u showed it's good, other wise it's ok, as u said in comments definitely better way is there to end the necklace, I appreciate u for that, practise makes masters, keep it up, 👍👍👍 thanks for sharing 🙏🙏🙏

Your needle size would depend on the size of bead you are working with, I think I used the size 6/0 beads so any size needle that can go through that bead will do. Hope this helps. Thank you.
