Every time I go to the Dollar Tree all I see is a bunch of generic junk , but now I see these videos and realize it's not junk! And I'd be lucky to receive these gifts. It's nice to see how much effort goes into buying the different items and putting them together in such a nice presentation. I'm just not that creative at all, so we need these videos! Thank you!

Add a recipe booklet with all of your diy cleaning and laundry recipes. I have given a laundry basket or hamper with some laundry products for going to the laundromat. Newlyweds sometimes have to use the apartment complex facilities. If your budget is a little higher add an iron, a folding board for shirts, and a linen spray or even a roll of quarters.
We have bought a lot of our kitchen items from there -- I have a potato peeler we've had for several years and its still one of my favorite purchases from the Dollar Tree!

Since Carson loves cooking, you could paint his hand and put his hand print on the oven mitt and write the words "Grandma's Helper" and give to his grandma as a gift. Whenever he bakes cookies or goodies with grandma he can use his special mitt :)

So I totally just did something similar for a Bridal Shower except I made it a dish washing theme! I bought one of this white dish bins and filled it with sponges, dish soap, the metal scrubbers, some cute towels I picked up from Ross, and a candle. It turned out so cute and cost about $16!
I've heard you mention a few times how you use to teach. I'm a teacher too and it would be amazing to if you'd do a video with teaching/classroom tips! :)

At my DT they have these Royal Norfolk Cutlery knives that are so incredibly sharp! They have paring knives and a chopping knife and then another longer bladed knife. They have red, blue or white plastic handles but for a buck and to be so sharp they are worth a $1.

My issue with the Betty Crocker measuring spoons and cups is that the measurements are printed on and after time will rub off. I bought the no-name DT measuring cups with the raised measurements a while back and they work great. Otherwise, I like the Betty Crocker items, too! My favorite is the can drainer and I use it nearly everyday!
Quite possibly. In my household, it gets too complicated trying to have many items that can't go into the dishwasher! I've managed to train everyone that certain mugs, for example, do not go into the dishwasher. Other than that, it's mostly survival of the fittest. :-D
