You definitely need to watch it again with subtitles. Too much writing and explaining in the comments. All Allegro films are a modern interpretation of old Polish legends. If you want, you can also check (even on the wiki) who these videos are about. Then the plot will be more complete.

Baba Yaga exist in polish legends as verry bad woman. she lived in the forest, took care of animals and trees, healed people and could do magic because she was a witch
To jedna wersja i nie prawdziwa. Baba Jaga była zła do szpiku kości, porywała dzieci i je pożerała, przynosiła też zarazy.
