Shark all the way, bought my wife the shark and that thing is amazing! I use it all the time for my hair as well for the hair dryer, sounds like a light saber when turning it off lol
The dyson is definitely a winner for healthy silky hair. I used the shark one week and my hair got completely damaged. Plus, the shark is bulky, the on and off is awkward and the noise is annoying. I couldn’t see myself using it so I returned it
I personally have the shark and even though you’re right, the lowest heat setting is very hot. The middle setting is way too hot. And using the last one is just begging for damage
You just need to Turn the screw on the Head of the Dyson so that the attachement is in its blow dryer Mode instead of the smoothing mode. Its that simple…
I have really thick SEA hair and have loaned both the shark and the dyson but i ultimately went for the Dyson because it grabbed onto my thick heavy hair a little better and didn't get as hot as the shark. The Dyson was expensive, sure, but it has cut my hairstyling time in half and i didnt mind splurging on something i use every day. I loved how the shark could be made from a straight barrel into an angled one though and i don't think i would have been unhappy with it if i had chosen the Shark instead.
Pls we’ve been putting damage on our hair since the dawn of time. Wind, the cold, heat from central air, bleaching, dying, styling, sleeping on wet hair or unprotected. Your hair is already dead by the time it grows out of your head with an average lifespan of about 7 years before it becomes so brittle and splits. Get the cheaper one and invest in hair oils and hair treatments with a satin bonnet once you start caring about the integrity of your hair it and just use some heat protectant it’s a game changer.
This is my take. Dyson is better suited for smoother hair types and finer hair. Such as straight to loser wavy hair. Shark flex style is better for thicker and more textured hair.such as curly hair .
God bless you beautiful woman you can use both who won you guys and that's a brand name not to be reckoned with Dyson's been around for years as vacuum cleaners God bless you beautiful woman Dyson all the way Wisconsin's watching❤
@@Izzy-ql9lp i was also thinking this, the fly away part has been used the entire time for blowdrying and also it was used in the wrong way to smooth the fly away hair

The Shark gets my vote. I returned my Dyson, it was a HUGE disappointment.

Shark gives you different heat options, you don't have to use the hottest setting. The Dyson doesn't give you that option

The dyson does give u that option, low medium and high heat
@@chinmayij9334 yes but it doesn't actually get very hot. The shark does that
you didn’t say which one you like more (no hate i’m just wondering because i’m getting the dyson tomorrow)
did you get it?
@@ZalikhaOusou yes i did, personally i think it’s for sure not worth it. don’t waste your money on something that you can easily dupe for $400 less!!
@@kayla.887 No wayyy I want it so bad. Now I am really unsure 😭
@@ZalikhaOusou do what you want, but just warning you, it’s not worth it! there are countless dupes that could be better.

The problem with the shark is the high heat, they cannot recreate dyson technology 😊 it’s the best!

This is fresh perspective, nobody said you need to get smaller section with shark before. Really has to consider now 😅
Other people siad the opposite because the suction in the dyson is not as strong 😅

i get they have differences but i just dont think they are big enough to be worth 300 dollars more….
honestly for 200 dollars less i think i’ll buy the shark if its only downside is the curlers get a little warmer than the dysons
I think if it's gets too hot, it means that it's more likely to damage the hair

our hair is made dead cells and protein
@@ariannathomson7888 That's good advice, but for me personally, using less heat also made a difference
For me it was 239 vs 600 and it was a no brainer. I cope with the two barrels a the 60 percent discount. 🤗

I did replace my regular hairdryer! The Dyson is so much better honestly. Takes half the time and leaves way more shine

Shark for short term but not long term it damages my hair so much I had to get Dyson
Bestie, not you using the Dyson Hairdrier attachment wrong 😭😭
Shark is the best
For the price and quality difference, the shark all the way
I ordered the Shark 🦈 from Costco, $240 before taxes and includes 7 attachments. If I don’t love it I’ll return it
Is it good?
You used the fly away tool on the Dyson wrong 😄
I love my shark flex ❤❤❤❤
I have the shark one and I don’t like the hair dryer I don’t know why 😳
Shark looks better
I have THICKKKK hair, and wavy and frizzy, so dyson all the way
And yet the Shark site definitely looks better. Go figure.
You are not using the dyson hair dryer tool properly.
Wym?
