It always has been about skill, otherwise none of the current players would be there. Cornwall is what you call a good strategist. Though many may argue that playing some of those shots in a test match under the circumstances is unnecessary, he plays to his strengths and picks the bad balls. If he was content on hitting singles and rotating the strike he would have been gassed out and/or ran out very early on. Props to Da Silva for providing balance and holding down the other end.
Cornwall is a very elegant batsman. None of the shots were wild hoics, proper cricketing shots they were. Well done.
