    ABOUT LEFT BEHIND:
LEFT BEHIND is a hyper-realistic psychological horror game where you take on the role of a real estate agent with a client looking to sell you a property. Instead of a straightforward and quick interaction with the client, you find yourself thrust into a deeply unsettling and frightening situation.

I live in southeast Alabama and venture into the woods quite often. The most disturbing situation is being out in nature and realizing there's no ambient sound at all. I was camping with some friends and we were deep into some incredibly thick underbrush when one of us mentioned the lack of sound. Then a bone chilling, guttural scream for a few seconds, followed by a terrible stench. Never saw anything but not for lack of trying. I've never been more in fear for my own well being than that night.

    • @Icestar_Dragon
      @Icestar_Dragon 6 месяцев назад +25

If it's anything, chances are it was a fisher. Fishers scream like bloody murder, I hear them often enough up here in PA. I think you have them down there.
Can't tell what made the smell, unless the fisher was also right there and it pooped or something. I just know fishers are unpleasant to hear at night if you don't know what you're hearing.

Same here. I also live in southeast Alabama. Currently in Troy but originally from Headland which is 10 minutes or so north of Dothan. You? I’ve been turkey and deer hunting ever since I was old enough to do so but there’s not much more unnerving than hearing a bobcat screaming like a woman in the direction you’re headed 😂

...It includes no electronics. That's a big one, and a big reason for so much depression in young ppl.
I kick my son outside regularly. He rides his bike or does whatever he wants.
You know what's sad? There are 20+ kids in just my building (there are 3 bldgs on the property) and I never one seen another kid play outside.
Im sure it happens, but its rare enough neither he nor I have seen it.
The closest he got were some kids waving at him from inside their apt while he played outside... it actually broke my heart.
There's a ton of grass and land here (Im in a rural area of central maine). There's plenty of area to play.

I mentioned this in the last video.. The forest is so well done! Nothing obvious is duplicated, there's no patterns due to lazy design. There's the odd sparkle from a waxy leafed plant, even the wind blowing ferns and trees are done in waves, like a proper breeze. I have never seen a more realistic representation of a forest on my screen. So well done.
Edit: I live in the country, my backyard is a national park. I can tell you 100% the air is fresher out here. When I visit my dad in a major city (600 000 people) and try to go for a run for exercise, immediately I am struggling for oxygen. It's like running just after smoking a cigarette. The pollution just reduces the quality of the air by a lot.

One thing that bothers me about games like this is lack of detail. When there is no intricate mechanics like building, combat, crafting, inv management, etc then the immersion needs to be 10/10. Stuff like when you cross the wooden bridge in the woods you hear footsteps on planks not grass

I moved just a forty minute walk away from my old house and yeah, the air is very different between the city and countryside. The old place was in a bog-standard suburb next to the motorway, and while the new place was physically about the same distance away from the motorway, the air is much cleaner. In part, because the new place is in a village, but also because the wind often blows clean air south from Wales, which also carried the motorway fumes into the city. Beforehand, the only way you’d get clean air was after a really heavy downpour. We used to sit under the porch and smell the air during a rainstorm because of it. Now, we don’t need to, although it is nice to watch.

Seeing it in person was absolutely insane.

Such a great venue concept. This is reminding me so much right now of the Overlook hotel from The Shinning. Immagine if there was a flashback storyline intertwined. Like as you played through the place came to life and it was full of Nursing staff, and Doctors, and Patients. Like you mentioned a Nurse behind the counter. Imagine if that did happen, she popped up and startled you, but then the scene came to life like a carnival and the characters populated the scene and played out the storyline; complete with mentally deranged patients, and psychopathic doctors.

Man, the ambience inside the building was ominous af, it sounded like a hundred tortured souls were stuck in the walls or something!
By the way, the bathtub wasn't used for ECT (Electric Shock Treatment), it was used for hydrotherapy. Hydrotherapy is basically using water (either hot or cold depending on the patient's condition) to treat different conditions in patients. a patient would be submerged into a tub of warm or cold water for hours or days, warm water to treat issues like insomnia, making the body relax and even letting them fall asleep in the bath, and cold water to treat hyperactive, anxious or psychotic patients as the cold water slows the bloodflow to the brain. Wether it was effective or not I don't really know. Other forms of hydrotherapy were spraying the patient down with a hose or wrapping them in wet sheets, either warm or cold, and in some facilities there were even sauna "boxes" that a patient was put in with their head and hands sticking out of the sauna box.

When I have watched too much crazy, depressing worldly news and need to be pulled from the chaos, Fooster is where I go. And 10:47 I'm in a full sprint to my truck and gone.

Fooster that was quite intense in places, a good short game with a sad ending, have you ever played Infra, I'm playing it at the moment, its massive and quite realistic in parts as I'm a water engineer and parts are quite real.

I think game developers are waking up to giving Fooster the power to call for Mr. Arnold for the sake of content value.

this is INSANE.... Real estate agents who go out into the middle of BFE NOWHERE to sell a house and the person selling WONT TELL YOU EXACTLY WHERE IT IS?..... Why would you, even?.... You're asking to be gutted and have your intestines made into a garland, imo.😅 ... Thanks as usual for the content Fooster!!! XD

      Right?!!

is right up there with "I've got a bridge to sell you".

You know, if you are all alone in a forest, you don't know the area well and you come across a tent in the middle of nowhere, YOU DON'T STOP TO TAKE A NAP inside that tent, no matter hoy much your head hurts.

Although I played this on the tv and the jump scares were as horrifying as watching a full blown horror movie if not worse.

Disapointed to see some of the comments posting such wild speculation about Fisk and Fooster. One thing I will say is you guys have clarified that nothing is wrong and that Fisk wants to work on his own channel growth but you guys are both good friends and collabs will still happen naturally. I'm not sure but I think where some of this might have come from is some older audience members might be fans of another channel that posts similar content called IGP. IGP used to do collabs with his friend and fellow youtuber Icycaress. They had a falling out and stopped posting together after a long time over creative differences and personal stuff but the crossover similarities are there. But the fact is that nobody can know unless you guys say something but we can't all just assume the worst. Most of the time a situation like this isn't due to malice or something bad happening behind the scenes. You guys have separate channels and a lot of overlap of audience but still...it's separate content. You guys remember when Fooster had other friends like Taco and the gang? It didn't used to be just Fisk. I assumed something similar happened there with just normal stuff getting in the way. Anyways great video! Love your content Fooster! Don't let the comments discourage you :)

Before two hurricanes gutted them and the city came in to finally clear them out, this is what Seaview Hospital looked like on Staten Island, NYC. That place was so cruel and messed up that there are documentaries about it and there was even a rumored serial killer (who was an ex-patient) named Cropsey who lived in the ruins (a lot of that was urban legend but some of it was true). Me and my friends used to explore it all the time and man, I'm a skeptic for a lot of things, but there was some weird, weird shit in that place. Like the woman's voice singing and following us one night. This game has those vibes.
