Another delightful cruise to brighten up a very windy Solstice. Nice to see a bit of the Welsh Hills, I went to school in Flintshire, and remember getting out to the hills when I could. Hope you all have a brilliant Christmas.
I'm still loving it and so honoured to be part of this winter cruise.. the views are absolutely stunning and our cameras do not do it justice.. you have to be here 😀
The remaining trees might also be at risk as the neighbours see the better view without the trees in the way. When the older and larger trees were removed the soil disturbance itself might threaten the existing trees .
That was a shame cutting those trees down they were holding the canal Bank together !!! Also taking the beauty away 😢😢. Take care be safe and Mary Christmas and a happy new year!! I will see you on the next video!!! BY for now!!!😮😊
As per usual Garry you have produced a truly brilliant video. Very interesting and informative.. I found out this week that you were on the Llangollen canal .you passed one of my oldest friends unfortunately she was not quick enough to say hello to you and your family..she is not as nimble as she used to be.. I think this might be the last year for her living on her boat..after nearly fifty five years. I think she is now finding it harder To use the lock's .I hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.. Has I said in a comment to noha Llangollen has a host of interesting places to visit. One of my family members for many years ago run stables on the Llangollen canal.. This is where all my family spent the winter months. On their boats.. As a young boy my mother promised to get me a red dragon .for Christmas.?? She bought me the welsh flag. Which I still have. To this day. Anyway Garry as always keep yourselves safe and well.
Such a shame we missed your friend Wayne but perhaps on the way back we may get to say hello to her. Once again we're so pleased that you enjoyed our journey

Surely they could have at least keep 50% of those tree. But personally they should have not taken down at all…….full shame.
Couldn't agree more

Just a bit of useless info Gary...the Lion Quays are actually on the A5...used to be the 483 up until a few years ago :)
I did actually realise whilst editing that I made an error lol
Gary have you started drawing again?
Not yet Kat but definitely in the new year
Sad too see the trees been there for probably 100 years.
No, it is not progress. 😢😠
Merry Christmas to all of you
And a very Merry Christmas to you and yours too
