It seems like an unfortunate case of inconsistent writing for how Kyoko ended up by the sound of it. Like that the creators didn't exactly know how to portray a manipulative person in a balanced manner where it's a flaw of their character and properly expressed as such with the consequences. Konosuba's Megumin had a similar problem where her bullying of Yuyun is shown as a comedic thing at times when it is just mean. They do have their nice moments, but it's like the creators don't know how to properly set the stage at times. I'm not familiar at all with D4DJ to be honest, but it does seem interesting enough to look into. Is it an anime with visual novel games made for it or vice versa? Where should a person go to first learn more about it in general? Shinobu's disdain for vegetables is honestly quite relatable as is the bullying around it. I'd be curious enough to hear more of her side of the coin as well.
It's just an anime thing. Technically D4DJ is primarily the real life bands, but as far as getting into D4DJ is concerned, you want to start with First Mix, which is an anime, then Groovy Mix is a rhythm mobile game that has visual novel story telling, then All Mix anytime after you read the earily D Fes stories in GM.
great vid i learned a lot of facts
Glad you enjoyed!
