And he is but one example of why our generation don't get our itty bitty feelings hurt😂. Sam Kinison is another😊
Dennis Leary
Yep !
Bill hicks too
(R.I.P) Sam Kinison
George Carlin
Lewis Black
Andrew Dice Clay, Sam Kinison, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, and Red Foxx,.. this is why us Gen X folks do not get easily offended LOL..
As opposed to so many on here who feel "comedians can't say anything anymore", this is absolutely correct. Kinison was the first to make me first think "Jesus, should I be laughing at this?!?"
Don't forget Rodney. I mean no respect at all.
That's a good list. And older generations were greased up by Rickles, Bruce, Carlin, Rivers. Gotta get back to not taking things so literally or defending others ( when they aren't asking to be defended ). Same old thing: If you don't like it, don't go to the show.
Don't forget Bill Hicks....
Not to mention Fred Sanford,Al Bundy, etc.
"Did he say that?"
At one time freedom of speech wasn't just a catch phrase.
There are plenty of people still saying stuff like this now. It’s just most people have realised it’s not big or clever or funny as they grew up.
@@sputukgmail Name one on stage. Lol, you'd get banned / deplatformed / unpersoned if anyone said anything like this on stage.
No there is NO ONE like this saying stuff like this anywhere.
You're only lying to yourself.
@@sputukgmailIt actually is funny. You are just too sensitive, uptight, and prudish to realize it. Loosen up and you might just enjoy life more. It's comedy, it's not meant to be serious or politically correct. And, because of people like you, no comedian is saying funny stuff like this anymore. Go watch some In Living Color, Don Rickles, and some Sam Kinison, and unbunch your panties. The actual grown folk are the ones that can watch comedy like this, have a good laugh, and not get offended. The ones who are offended by comedy are the ones who haven't grown up!
to be fair, this stand up would go without issue if done in any other part of the world as well since homophobia is widespread
@@fug33 I think in some parts, true. Not “any” though. In many parts of the world, this kind of crude humour would be frowned upon for many reasons regardless of the homophobia aspect. In quite a few places the homophobia would be frowned upon though - while not everywhere is as progressive as America, America is far from being the most progressive and a fair chunk of countries are similar to America.
Now, if the act were done with irony, as he did with more subtlety in his much later TV show where he was kinda parodying how his character had previously done this kind of act, then this could play with only a little change even in very progressive audiences - if he made the joke be “look at how ridiculous this sexist, homophobe is”, which only needs a subtle look to camera etc.
He’s an interesting guy when he’s interviewed seriously about his comedy - he said on Larry King that he wouldn’t hang out with a guy who said or believed the things “Dice” would say on stage, but he knows it gets laughs as that character, and that people didn’t always get that he was portraying a character where the comedy comes from making them so extreme - making them a parody.
Anyhow - I’m also reminded of the phrase “the past is a foreign country, they do things differently there”
WOW! You came back for more. Brave girl.
my thought exactly
Yes, the first Dice reaction was uncomfortable to watch...I thought she'd never be back...Gotta hand it to her....I also like she's trying to bring out the positives of the bit....
Or a generous patreon
He doesn’t discriminate…he goes after EVERYONE!
I was watching him as a kid. This is what happened to Gen X. We had HBO comedy specials after school as latch key kids...
Exactly , proud Gen xr. born in the 70s. , I don't understand these fruity generations that came after. Lol
Benny Hill too!
He speaks the truth, and he's hilarious.
We need an Andrew Dice in comedy today.
It'll never happen with all the ❄️ we have today
Make Comedy legal again
Agreed 💯 @@codyclaeys2008
The real one is out there and touring everywhere.
@@codyclaeys2008 This is the dumbest take ever. Do you know who Legions of Skanks (Jay Oakerson, Luis Gomez, Dave Smith) are? Do you know Doug Stanhope? Do you know Shane Gillis, Chappelle, Tim Dillon, Mark Normand, Ari Shaffir, Rogan, Bobby Lee, Bill Burr, Kurt Metzger.... Should I name more? Ok then, Joe List, Bert Kreischer, Sam Morrill, Donnell Rawlings, Tom Segura, Whitney Cummings, Theo Von. Oh yeah, and Dice himself. You are just whining to keep the impression out there that as some other dummy on here alluded to with a "Make comedy legal again" comment; you want people to believe that risky comedy has been banned. Every one of the comedians I named above are selling out venues - and honestly a majority of them are selling out theaters and even arenas. While granted there WAS recently a problem with what you are talking about, it is absolutely not the case anymore. and Either you are dumb or lying. You have become the snowflake. ❄
The comedians back then could and would say ANYTHING...and we laughed and we weren't bad people, it was funny and wrong and we said "That's just wrong!" while we laughed.
Yeah. we lived in a free country then. Today-SHIT!
No they didn’t. Back then there was some respect, some limitations. Those live Dice Clay and Richard Pryor were so disgustingly vulgar that I wouldn’t listen. In fact I had more respect for myself
@@johnstruewing1164 The people who listened and laughed, and had a good time, also had respect for themselves. They just weren't uptight.
Little boy blue...he needed the money!
See no judgement.
OH!!!!
That is The DICE MAN!!
The word you were looking for is "schtick." It sounds like...shhhhhhtick.
Try Sam Kinison some time😉
If you do Sam, please don’t do a censored version. It’s rough, REALLY rough, you’ll feel bad for laughing, but you’ll laugh
The skit from SNL where Kinison plays a ersatz Kindergarten teacher or "The Kinisons" skit from In Living Colour would be a good way to introduce Sam.
Also turn your sound down about 15 notches.
we need more of this in 2024! good on you for not being offended. Cheers
Comedy was actually funny 30 years ago.
I have not heard this in years, I definitely went back in time with this one. We live in another world now, where everything is offensive.
Ford Fairlane. great movie with him
One of the best of the 90’
BUT YOU'RE LAUGHING BRITT
😂🤣🤩
C'mon. You laughed. We all laughed. You are right, he spared no one. If we laugh at others we need to be able to laugh at ourselves.
Nah…same as I don’t laugh if a toddler sticks its hand in a diaper and wipes it on their face - it’s the same act in my book.
Britt learned a new term, smoking the baloney pony.
😂😂😂
Now THAT's comedy!!
Andrew Dice Clay was hilarious. Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pale of water each with $1.25, Jill came down with $2.50, lol.
Darealdeal
A second helping of Dice Clay? I applaud your courage, Britt. Back in the day, he was one of my favorites, along with Bob Goldthwait, Rodney Dangerfield, Don Rickles, and Steven Wright. It was a different time and if I had a chance to go back, I wouldn't waste time packing a bag.
As someone who worked his shows, I can say this is absolutely tame compared to what he did when it was not being recorded.
It is the TRUTH.
Sam Kinison, a comedian of the same time, to see and hear is to believe. Try "If Jesus had a Wife" short loud and to the point.
Damn. Not one lie was told.
THE GOOD OLD DAYS !!
I love that you always find something nice to say, “his comedic delivery is very good”. 😂
Every word is rehearsed. Kudos to him, and every comedian. POLISH or PERISH on stage. Nobody thinks up their jokes on stage, they WRITE the show and REHEARSE it to death, then TEST it before they ever get on a big stage.
"The Adventures of Ford Fairlane" is one of my all time favorite movies. All star cast.
Andrew always goes Ballz Deep in any topic.
He did a movie in the early 90's called "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane". One of my favourite movies of all time.
I saw Dice 3 or 4 yrs ago...he was coming off a bells palsy condition. He started slow then blew everyone away. Legend
Reminds me of Fonzi on steroids.
Back when we had a sense of humour.
DICE! DICE! DICE! I got to see him back in the early 90s in Philly
The Best Video of the Year 🫢😂🤣
shtick, lol. I loved his nursery rhymes back in the day!
This comedy could save the world! 😂
Love his straight forward no filter approach.
this is real comedy the way it should be.
Damn, I miss the good old days! So refreshing!
_"In humore est veritas."_
In humor there is truth.
Yes there is
It's strangly refreshing to hear in this day and age.lol
Love this guy
Love all your videos, especially when you review the dicey, and controversial musicians and comedians.
Keep up the awesome reactions.
✌️
Andrew modeled this character from "Vinny Barbarino" ( John Travolta ) from the TV series "Welcom Back Kotter".
He's also Jewish.😂
❤❤❤❤❤ love dice clay
I agree with him!!!
I was hanging Haight /Ashbury in '68 and '69. San Fran and Venice Beach has been crazy for decades
Wish we had more comedians like this today
I love this guy!
If you think about it... the Jerry Lewis' chemical enhanced "Buddy Love" from the film The Nutty Professor is ALOT like Andrew Dice Clays comedy routine
Schtick. ☝️🤓
How sad that the RUclips feed said "Translate to English" ??!!
Keep in mind that until about 15 years ago MOST people considered homosexuals to be deviants.
@tradde11 Is the truth hurting your butt?
@tradde11 I lived through those years. Did you? Just go watch movies from the 70's 80's and 90's. Any mention of Gays was as a joke. Movie producers would not have allowed that if most people would find it offensive.
I knew after the first roll of the Dice . You would have to touch the Dice again.
The OG equal opportunity insulter is Don Rickles. Same way with Mel Brooks' movies, regardless of race, color, creed, sex, religion, or orientation, it's all fair game.
When he first got popular it was obvious he was playing a character. Gradually it seemed that larger than life character took over his actual life. At this point he's been living that character for more of his life than the guy he used to be.
You are wrong. He is not that character and has never been. Why are you talking about something you know nothing about? Have you heard any of his interviews? Have you heard about how everyone has talked about him over the years? Everyone loves that guy and says hie is absolutely NOT that persona. And you are talking about him currently as "that guy"? You don't know anything. Unbelievable.
The thing about Dice, he was and is NOTHING like that outside of his show. I always found that interesting.
He actually has a lot of integrity
@@Officialupc Very much so.
Admit it. He’s funny as hell.
OMG thats how no one got offended, like nowadays, appreciate your reaction
Wow! You went back for more😂❤
I can't wait to see you react to Sam Kinneson.
Sam was a preacher before becoming a shock comic right there with Dice.
Can I buy this on DVD somewhere?
Love the shirt
He's doing an apped up version of Jerry Lewis's "Buddy Love"
He’s the greatest
cool shirt B! ❤
Dice is great Brit lol
Thanks!
Dice, everyone can get it, Clay
He telling like it is thay all will have to answer too God.
When u could tell the truth and laugh
The good old days…
Diceman left no one unturned or no group unmolested
If you can’t laugh at yourself, can’t laugh at anything!!
DO NOT GET OFFENDED BY COMEDY, it is COMEDY!
Classic!
Sam Kinison would be a good on to react too. You feel guilty laughing sometimes, but it's so outrageous, you can't help but laugh.
The Diceman
The man is a legand.
0:57. You like him and you know what *_you're still just as WONDERFUL of a person as you were before._* Just like the 'Crazy' Trump voters.
SUBBED!
It's legal to go around naked in San Fransico, but if you are on a bus, you cannot sit down unless you put a towel on the seat.
Check out Gilbert Godfrey does Andrew Dice Clay. Funnier than anything Clay ever did.
The word you’re looking for is ‘ Shtick ‘. It’s a Yiddish word used to describe a someone who uses the same act over and over. Such as this guy always has the same old Shtick! The word is used a lot in show business but it can be applied to anyone in everyday life. Like that salesman has the same tired old Shtick.
Dice is one of my fave ! And i live in France , 49 yo
Need more of this in today’s world people destroying the weak minded crybabies through comedy. He goes after everybody
My favourite comic is Dice
My favourite band is Floyd
My favourite album is Dark side
I guess now my fav clip is this one
Once you get a taste for the Diceman, you need more… Congrats Brit!
You have to check out his poems video
Good
Don't worry about being offended for someone else, they'll do it themselves. It's ok to let the guard down and laugh. Dice is one of the most obnoxious ones, but the shock is part of the comedy. That's what too many people totally miss these days.
Britt just got a participation ribbon 🏅😆😉 AAA OOOOH✌️❤️
You should listen to his Audio the day the laughter died 1,2. It was 94 his career was gone. He was so funny n angry. Dice says these little things that make me Laugh. And he didn’t do his nursery rhymes
SCHTICK! haha
We need him back
freedom of speech cuts both ways....:)
I live in San Francisco!,
Eddie Murphy Delirious!!
