Cheers! Those are both really good software. They have come a long way and both do a lot. I use Inventor for some jobs. I am no expert but for the cost with the available tools, I would consider it if I were opening a small design shop. SW has got the strongest fan base for a reason. NX and Catia are tops because they offer the biggest most complete tools from CAD to CAM to CAE
