  • Keerigan Rudd and Felicia Hoeppner randomly drew each other in the Action Card Challenge Invitational JnJ at Tulsa Spring Swing. Each of us had to draw a random action-Felicia got “flossing” and I got “twerking at the judges.” Neither of us knew what the other drew, but the audience got to see. The goal was to get our partner to do the action with us. It’s safe to say we succeeded, though I clearly am not good at the flossing thing. We ended up winning 🥇.
An invitational JnJ is not leveled, and consists of the dancers invited to compete in it. In this case, the dancers invited were the ones on staff at the event (including ourselves).
The style of dance we were doing (that does not generally involve twerking or flossing 🤣) is called West Coast Swing. It is a modern form of swing dancing that is completely improvised and often done with random partners. Sometimes you know your randomly selected partner pretty well, and that’s what we call a lucky draw.
