I hope you noticed that when you chose a look for your character it said that you chose it to be used only for offspring, there was an option to change that in the first screen, you should've used just villager and not a player or someone else.

No clue what error code 1 is, are you using fabric or forge? I’m pretty sure the mod is forge mod loader only

@@asdfDgh forge as in "CurseForge, by overwolf" or forge as in "Forge, the modloader"? from "i've tried modrinth and forge" i assume you mean curse (forge)
okay i've done some research and the mod has versions for fabric, forge and quilt mod loaders. on curse, i've just created a 1.19.2 custom profile with the "forge" option selected (instead of fabric or vanilla) and it works fine for me - if nothing else works try re-installing the modloader? feel free to ask more if you still cant get it working
